Chapter 11

                                    

                                          
Forth's pov:
                          
I moved into the penthouse three days later. I didn't have a lot of stuff so it only took me one day to pack. I waited two more days so p'mark can finish cleaning up the room. I said i could clean it myself but he wouldn't listen. 
                          
I also resigned from my part time job at the cafe'. P'mark said he would give me an allowance while i learn from him. I tried to refuse but again he wouldn't listen. 
                          
I can tell him and Beam are relatives. They are both equally stubborn. 
                          
So now i'm in the middle of arranging my few clothes in the big walk in closet. My clothes didn't take up even a third of the closet. The room is also really spacious with a king size bed in the middle.It looks really comfortable but i feel my skin crawl when i think about having to sleep in it. 
                          
The last time i experienced such luxury, things didn't go very well.
                          
But i sucked it up and decided to bear it. This is a once in a lifetime chance. I can't waste it just because of some bad memories from my past. 
                          
"Forth. I made lunch. Beam said his classes got cancelled so he'll also join us." P'mark came in. 
                          
I instantly lit up when i knew Beam would be joining us. 
                          
P'mark chuckled when he saw my expression. "you really like him don't you?"
                          
I blushed profusely. 
                          
I kept the remaining clothes on the shelves and followed p'mark to the dining room.
                          
When we got there, there were three plates of thai fried rice arranged on the table with glasses of orange juice.
                          
"The dessert is almost finished. We can start eating after Beam comes." He went into the kitchen.
                          
I got excited when he mentioned dessert. I've always had a major sweet tooth so i've loved eating all kinds of sweet things. 
                          
Just then the doorbell rang. 
                          
"That must be him. Forth, can you get it?" P'mark called from the kitchen. 
                          
I went and opened the door. When Beam saw me he immediately smiled brightly. I also smiled back just as widely.
                          
I opened the door wider and let Beam and closed it behind him.
                          
"You finished unpacking?" He asked as we walked to the dining room. 
                          
I nodded. 
                          
"Hey Beam. let's eat. I'm starving." P'mark sat down on one of the chairs around the table.
                          
Beam and i chuckled. We sat down and started eating. P'mark looked at me expectantly when i took the first bite. 
                          
I showed him a thumbs up telling him it's really good. 
                          
"I'm glad you like it." He smiled. He then started digging into his food. 
                          
After we finished eating p'mark went into the kitchen to get the dessert. He came back with a chocolate cake. 
                          
"I hope you like chocolate cake. I always eat it as a snack so i baked one for dessert."He set it down on the table. 
                          
"P' this is actually Forth's favourite dessert." Beam chuckled. 
                          
"Really?" P'mark looked at me surprised. 
                          
I smiled and nodded sheepishly. 
                          
"Then that's great. We can eat it together as snack during breaks." He smiled widely. 
                          
After we finished dessert p'mark took me to work room and gave me a overall idea what a designer needs to do on a daily basis. 
                          
Beam worked on some case studies in the living room in the meantime.
