Chapter 85: Trail of the Myth

Natsu and his team encounter both Dan and Coco, inside the underground crypt. It didn't take long for things to go awry with this group, especially after Dan spotted Lucy standing behind Michelle. In Lucy's arms was Lucky, who was wary of both Dan and Coco considering the last time they ran into them. "It's destiny that we keep crossing paths." Dan spoke in a loving tone, causing Lucky to shiver slightly. She didn't like the way Dan would come onto Lucy so strongly, especially because Lucy was also uncomfortable with it too. Natsu then attacks Dan, but he reflects it, causing the attack to set Lucy on fire. The group then takes the chance to escape using the distraction accidentally caused by Dan, destroying some ruins to run away. Dan pops up out of nowhere, scaring Lucky as he talks to Lucy about their love, which still freaked Lucky out.
                          
"Hey, I know you want to be all lovey dovey right now, but we still have a mission to do." Coco reminded, rolling her eyes at Dan's behavior. Natsu takes this time to attack Dan again, but he reflects the attack and sets Lucy on fire again. Dan tries to use Habaraki to shrink down Natsu, but misses and hits Lucy and Lucky instead. "Ahh!! He shrunk us!!" Lucky shouted, "Turn us back to normal!" Lucy said, "No, I don't think so. I'd much rather keep you this small and put on my desk as a decoration. I wouldn't mind keeping the cat either." Dan said, smiling down at Lucy and Lucky. "Ahh!! He's creepy, Lucy!!" Lucky cried, "I want Natsume!!" She added, "It'll be okay, Lucky. I promise." 
                          
"Dan, fight him later. We still need to find that clock piece." Coco said, as Lucy begins to feel dizzy so she summons Sagittarius, only to find that he was affected by Dan's magic as well. Sagittarius fires and arrow at Dan, but it has no effect on him, so he uses it as a toothpick. Lucky begins to panic, as Sagittarius had no effect on Dan. Dan is about to attack Sagittarius, when Happy tells him to look out and steps on the spirit himself. "Happy, watch where you're going!!" Lucky shouted, clinging to Lucy's leg. 
                          
"Dan, would you like to marry Lucy in the crypt?" Michelle asked, "It's perfect place and it's holy." She added, "I would love too!" Dan allows Michelle to do the bridal plan, "The Honeymoon will be an all around-the-world cruise, you will be constellations called the "Married Lovebirds" that will decorate the sky." Michelle explained, making Dan smile brightly.
                          
"She really had this whole thing planned out, didn't she?" Lucky asked, sweatdropping as she looked at Dan and Michelle. "Yeah, it seems so." Lucy said with a sigh, not excited by all the wedding talk. Dan suddenly smells something horrible, which was Romeo's yellow fire. Romeo had snuck up behind Dan when he was distracted and set a fire underneath Dan's armor. The smoke pours out of Dan's armor, causing Lucky and Lucy to be flying from Dan. "I gotcha!!" Romeo tries to use his purple fire to catch the two, but they are caught by Happy. "Thanks, Happy!" Lucky smiled up at Happy, who smiled down at her. Before they could celebrate, they are attacked by Dan's Habaraki, but Dan misses his targets and hits Lucy, Lucky and Happy. Everyone is relieved when Lucy and Lucky are back to their normal size, but are shocked to find that Happy is now really huge. 
                          
"Oh my god, Happy's huge!" 
                          
"Natsu, where are you?!" Happy shouts, looking around for him but then accidentally steps on Natsu again. 
                          
Meanwhile, Gajeel and his group are climbing a mountain, trying to get to the top. Levy starts to question whether they are on the right path or not, which also raises questions in Satomi and Chase. "Are you guys sure that we're on the right path?" Chase asked, looking up towards Gajeel and Levy. "Don't worry about it." Gajeel said, making Chase look down at his sister. Concurrently, Erza states their group is lost. "We've been going in circles." Cana said, making Satoru sigh as he realized she was right. "It's possible somebody could be playing a prank on us by switching the sign directions or they could be trying to trap us." Carla suggested, "You could be right, but why would they do that?" Wendy asked, looking to Carla. "Who knows." Satoru said, shaking his head.
                          
Back with Lucy's group, Natsu tells Happy to stop flying because he is destroying the ruins, but Happy replies that if he doesn't fly, he could possibly step on Natsu again. Dan turns Happy back to his normal size, while Coco confronts Lucy. "Give us the book work we can find the location of that clock piece faster." Coco demanded, before attacking Lucy. Romeo jumps in, using his magic to stop Coco and gives them the opportunity to run. However, Natsu decides to stay behind, "I will fight Dan and finish him off once and for all." Natsu stated, pounding his fists together. Lucky quickly picks Lucy up, fleeing from Coco causing Romeo to try and stop her again.
                          
"Lucy, where is the part?" As Lucy is searching, she bumps into a statue which activates a trap. A giant hole opens in the floor, causing everyone, including Coco to fall in. Lucky quickly catches onto Michelle, trying to slow the rate of their falling. Lucy tries to save Coco from falling, but they both end up slipping down into the hole. 
                          
"Michelle, go with Lucky and search ahead of me. I'll search down here." 
                          
"Are you sure?" Michelle asked, "I'll be fine." Lucy reassured, "Be careful, Lucy!" Lucky stated, looking to her before leaving with Michelle. This leaves Lucy alone with Coco, "You look just like some else I know, she's very sweet and kind and honest." Lucy said, "Well, I'm not the same person." Coco snapped, not wanting to let her guard down. Lucy takes a small step, accidentally setting off a trap but luckily, Coco saves her in the nick of time. "Your Edolas counterpart and I were enemies at first, but then we became friends." Lucy explained, as the two got up to their feet. "Oh no, we're at a dead end." Lucy thought to herself, looking forward. Coco then touches a statue's face and it activates another trap, as a result Coco is covered in rocks and knocked unconscious. Romeo and the others find Lucy and Coco, and Coco later wakes up finding her wound to be fixed. Lucy and the others continue searching for the piece.

"We've searched everywhere and this clock piece is nowhere to be found. How is that possible?" Satomi groaned, ruffling her short blonde hair. "Maybe we're on the wrong mountain, it's probably that one over there." Pantherlily jokes, pointing to a taller mountain. This causes Jet, Droy and Levy to fall out after thinking he was serious. "Well, I for one think it's somewhere on this mountain. It has to be here. I just know it." Chase said enthuastically, causing his sister to sigh. "It's probably buried in this mountain." Gajeel said, before he started digging into the mountain. "Gajeel's probably right." Chase nodded, starting to dig beside Gajeel. 
                          
At the same time, Erza's group has now reached their destination: The Magic Library. Erza and Satoru open the door to a room, to find it filled to the brim with books. "We should look around and see what we can find. There might be something here that can help us track down that clock piece." Erza looked over at Satoru, who nodded in response. He and Erza went their separate ways in the room, looking around for clues. Just as Erza removed a book from the bookshelf, some other books fall out, revealing the Butt Jiggle Gang members wiggling backside. At the same time, Natsu and Dan both declare that they both will go all out at each other, as they don't have time to screw around when the clock pieces still need to be found.
