He had no idea why Harry continued to date him but he was glad. He was so gonna win this bet. The hard part wouldn't be to get Harry to break up with him. The hard part was to convince him to continue dating for at least two weeks.

He had prepared a picnic basket on Saturday and went to get a blanket. Harry was supposed to show up at five. He had fetched a blanket when there was a knock at the door ten minutes early. Why wasn't he surprised? He put the blanket on the food basket and ran to the front door to open it.
"Hi, Harry."

"Hi, Lou. Ready? I know I'm a bit early." Harry answered and bit his lower lip.

Could he stop being so damn sexy?
"Yeah, just give me a minute." Louis answered and hurried to put his shoes on and grabbed a jacket before he got the basket and blanket.

Harry raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, uhm, I thought we could have a picnic. Is that lame?" Louis asked in a small voice.

Harry gave him a reassuring smile.
"A picnic sounds perfect! Where do you wanna go?"

"There's a park ten minutes from here." Louis answered.

"Come on then. Can I carry the basket?" Harry grinned.

Louis rolled his eyes but handed him the basket nevertheless. They headed out and walked in silence for ten minutes before they finally reached the park. Louis found a private spot surrounded by bushes and spread the blanket on the ground for them to sit on. He took a seat and Harry joined him. Louis started to unpack the food from the basket and Harry helped him. Soon they had a small fiest in front of them.

"This is a great idea, Lou. I love a good picnic." Harry said with a smile.

"You do? Good, I was a bit nervous that you would think it was kind of lame." Louis answered and handed him a soda.

Harry just smiled and opened his can. They ate in silence for a while and packed away everything when they were done. Harry laid down on his back and stared up at the sky.
"Don't you just feel small and insignificant when you look up at the sky and think about how big the universe is?" He said quietly.

Louis didn't really know how to respond to that so he just laid down next to Harry and looked up at the sky as well.
"I guess."

To his surprise, Harry took his hand in his and entwined their fingers together.
"You have such small hands. It's cute." Harry said with a smile lingering in his voice.

"They're not small!" Louis huffed.

"They are, little one. I like it." Harry chuckled and Louis let out a snort. He turned his head to look at Harry just to find him already looking at him.

They just laid there in silence gazing into each other's eyes until Harry started to lean in closer. Louis's breath hissed. Harry stopped with his lips just a few inches apart from Louis'.
"Can I kiss you?"

"Yeah." Louis breathed out and Harry didn't hesitate for a second to softly press his lips against Louis'. They moved their lips in sync and then they opened their mouths at the same time and tongue kissed. Louis's head was spinning. Kissing Harry was better than he ever could have imagined. He pressed himself closer and Harry's hand came up to cup his neck. The kiss was getting heated.

Louis had never experienced anything like it. It felt like he had no control. If Harry would ask him if he could fuck him here in a public place he would willingly comply and hadn't even had sex with anyone so far! That thought freaked him out and he broke the kiss.
"We're in a park, Harry." He panted out.

Harry seemed really out of it.
"What? Oh, of course. Shit! Sorry!"

Harry dragged a hand through his hair and tried to control his breathing. Louis was relieved that he seemed equally affected by the kiss. He started to giggle and Harry smiled at him.
"You're cute Lou."

"You're cuter!" Louis shot back.

"That's not even possible." Harry replied.

Harry sat up. He really needed to get a grip. Dating Louis was just a part of a stupid bet. It wasn't like he wanted a boyfriend at all. Not after Rick, which technically never was his boyfriend but best friend, but he had been in love with him.

Louis watched him curiously and could see Harry's mood change. He looked sad.
"Hey, Are you okay?" He asked softly.

Harry smiled but it didn't reach his eyes.
"Of course! Hey! Let's feed the birds!"

"Birds are scary!" Louis said with big, innocent eyes.

"Are they now? Don't worry, I'll protect you from the big, scary birds. Come on!" Harry jumped up and got some leftover bread from their picnic before he reached out a hand to help Louis to his feet.

Louis rolled his eyes.
"Ugh, fine! I'll tell them to eat you first!"

Harry let out a loud cackle and Louis grinned in response. They walked over to a pond and Harry handed him some bread. Louis took a small piece and threw it at some pigeons. They fed them until they ran out of bread.
"See? Not scary!" Harry said and smiled.

"Yeah, well, these birds have manners." Louis giggled.

They strolled around in the park talking about different topics and the conversation flooded easily. After a while, they went back to the blanket and laid down on their backs, and looked at the sky.
"I'm working tomorrow so I should head home." Harry said with a sigh.

"Of course!" Louis answered and got up.

They packed everything and Harry carried the basket and blanket back to Louis'. He handed it over when they arrived at the driveway.
"I had a great time today Lou." Harry smiled.

"Yeah, me too." Louis answered. He realized that he was telling the truth.

"Can I give you a goodbye kiss?" Harry asked.

"Yes. You don't have to ask for permission every time." Louis chuckled.

"Consent is really important." Harry stated and pouted his lower lip.

"It is. You have my consent until I say otherwise. Okay? Just kiss me you fool." Louis giggled.

Harry smiled and took a step closer. He put his hands on Louis's hips and pulled him in before he leaned down to kiss him. Louis kissed him back, thinking it would be a light peck on the lips but as soon as Harry's lips touched his he felt powerless. He wrapped his arms around Harry's neck, clinging to him. They deepened the kiss and they both let out a breathy moan that made the hair on Louis's arms stand up. They were getting really worked up once again, sparks flying between them. Harry was the one who ended it this time. He withdraws and looked down on Louis with dark eyes.
"Goodnight Lou. Talk
to you tomorrow?"

He removed his hands from Louis's hips and he stumbled forwards. His legs felt like jello.
"Shit!" Louis grunted.

Harry chuckled lightly and winked at him before he turned around and walked over to his bike. He put the helmet on and straddled it. Louis was just staring at him and snapped out of it.
"Bye Harry!"

Harry raised his hand as a goodbye and then he started the engine and drove off.
