Bonnie's stomach erupted into butterflies when she listened to the words Theo was saying to her. She smiled widely at him, a blush forming across her cheeks.
Theo couldn't help but place his soft hand over one of her rosy cheeks, he resisted the temptation to kiss her, but couldn't stop his eyes moving from Bonnie's lips and back up to her eyes again. Bonnie took a sharp breath in and stepped back abruptly. She placed a hand over her mouth and ran to the bathroom when the butterflies in her stomach got overtaken by the nausea.
Theo sighed and followed her into the bathroom, making Bonnie jump when he held her hair back and out of her face with one hand and rubbed her back with the other hand. He hated seeing her like this.
"I'm sorry." She muttered, in-between her staggered breaths and retching. "This is so gross."
"It's okay, I just want you to feel better." He told her softly. Theo could hear somebody's footsteps coming down the hall and he hoped to God it wasn't Natalie.
When Lydia's voice came from the bathroom door a few seconds later, Theo let out a breath of relief.
"Oh god," Lydia grimaced at the scene. "I was going to tell you that I was going to make breakfast, but seems like you definitely don't want it."
Bonnie turned to her cousin who stood cringing in the doorway. "The thought of food makes me wanna puk-" Bonnie gagged and stuck her head back in the toilet bowl, nothing was coming up now other than stomach acid but she couldn't stop retching.
"I'll make you something Theo." Lydia turned to him, trying to ignore Bonnie.
"Thank you, but uh, what about your mom?" Theo asked, thinking about how hungry he actually was.
"It's fine," Lydia waved her hand in front of her, "I've explained the situation and she's actually the one that told me to come up here and feed you, so..."
"Cool." Theo shrugged.
"Come down when Bonnie hasn't got her head in the toilet." Lydia half smiled, taking another glance at her cousin then back at Theo. "And when you've put some clothes on." She nodded, raising an eyebrow before turning and leaving the room.
Not too soon after Lydia had left, Bonnie lifted her head and breathed heavily, wiping the tears from her cheeks.
"Maybe some food will make you feel a bit better..." Theo said softly, continuing to rub her back. Bonnie looked at him and half smiled.
"Maybe." She sighed, "But first, I need to shower."
Theo nodded and got to his feet.
"Sure." He nodded, "I'll be on your bed if you need me."
"Thank you." She said, getting to her feet and flushing the toilet. Her stomach ached and her throat felt swollen, she hoped a hot shower would make her feel better.
Bonnie closed the bathroom door and striped down, she turned the shower on and cleaned her teeth while the water heated. She stepped into the shower and was surprised at how much better she felt when the hot water washed over her body.
After her shower, she wrapped a towel around her and left her bathroom, almost forgetting that Theo was there.
Bonnie stopped at her wardrobe and turned to look at Theo, who was laying on her bed, dressed and with his phone in his hand.
"What are you looking at?" He asked, glancing at her momentarily, then looking back at his phone. After a couple of seconds he looked at Bonnie again, his lips forming into a smirk.
