Heyyyyyy everyone! So if you are wondering why I didn't update for like a week and a half, it's because I was on vacation! I'm sorry, I should've made a message on this story because some of you didn't know. But I did make an announcement on my message board so be sure to always check that so you guys are informed. Another announcement I would like to make is:

For those of you who don't skip and you read every chapters order: A HIGH FIVE FOR YOU AND APPLAUSE!!! 👏 👏👏

NOW YOU OTHER CHEEKY READERS THAT SKIP: SHAME ON YOU!!!!! Don't act like I don't see you guys skipping those chapters!!! Smh

Now I understand some chapters may sound interesting so you skip ahead to read them but PLEASE DON'T! This is for your own good because most chapters have very important details in it and sometimes I get comments with people being confused about things. They would not have been confused if they read the previous chapters. I can also tell you guys skip because of the amount of reads for chapters. So my point is, PLEASE DONT SKIP!!!! THANK YOU!

Now for my early update! Enjoy!

"Hey mom!" Sophie greeted as she walked into her house.

School had just ended and it had been an eventful day. It started with Nick asking Sophie to be his Valentine, then Marella made a huge show of asking Dex to be her Valentine. Dex had looked shocked and flustered and he ended up saying yes. Then at lunch, Biana had snuck a secret Valentine's Day card in Tam's lunch box. It was hilarious when Tam was trying to figure out who gave him the card the whole time. Biana decided to be secretive and never told him it was her.

And the day passed quickly and everyone had fun with the drama. Though Keefe was not at school today which was strange. No one seemed to know where he was but Biana looked a bit suspicious.

"Hey honey! How was school today?" Edaline shrieked as she ran up to Sophie and gave her a big hug.

"It was fun," Sophie said as she pulled away and kicked off her flats.

"So?" Edaline prompted.

"So...what?" Sophie asked, not liking the strange look Edaline was giving her.

"So who's you're Valentine?! Who's the special guy?" Edaline demanded.

"No one!" Sophie squeaked, a bit too quickly.

"C'mon Sophie! Do you really think I'd believe that? I know you too well," Edaline said. Edaline looked like she was hiding something though.

Sophie bit her lip nervously as she looked away. "Aw Sophie! I'm your mom, you can tell me!" Edaline begged.

Sophie sighed. Sometimes her mom acted like a teenage girl. "Well...Nick asked me and I...said yes. And in a little bit, he's going to take me on a date for Valentine's Day," Sophie explained, tugging out her eyelashes.

"Nick?! It was him? Like the guy you went on your first date with?" Edaline asked.

"Yeah," Sophie mumbled, hiding behind her hair.

"Wow...so you two know each other well?" Edaline asked.

"Yeah, I guess."

"You guess?" Edaline asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I mean—yeah of course I do! I just mean that I still have a lot to learn about him. Like you always have things to learn about everyone," Sophie stuttered.

Edaline nodded slowly. "Okay well I'm happy for you."

"You don't look very...excited or happy," Sophie said, trying to decide if that was a good or bad thing.
