𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐋𝐘𝐃𝐈𝐀'𝐒 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐊, the entire hospital was buzzing with gossip and questions.  It seemed as if every patient had heard the news of the miracle girl who had survived the deadly animal.  At least, that's what the press said.  Lydia was all over the news, on every television in every room.  Kat tried to ignore it as she made her rounds.  She would have preferred to stay home and sulk in the quietness of her bedroom -- it would have made her research to find out what she was much easier -- but she wasn't physically or mentally hurt, just mentally scarred; therefore, she had no tangible reason to not show up at work.  That's what she had Stiles and Spencer for.  They stayed stationed outside Lydia's room, taking shifts between researching, sleeping, and bothering Kat all weekend.  She was almost sick of them.  At least Lexi and Allison stopped by enough to give her a much-needed break from the boys.

Kat trailed after Melissa, thankful that she was the nurse she was assigned to for the beginning of her shift, and they finally finished their rounds and were finishing their charts at the nurse's station.  Stiles and Spencer were in the same chairs they had been all weekend, but Spencer was sprawled out across the chairs beside him while Stiles sat with his hands typing away on his laptop.  Spencer started mumbling, and Kat figured he was sleep talking.  She began to giggle when she heard what he was saying.

"Ohh . . . Just like that," Spencer sleepily hummed, "No, no, you first.  Me first?" He snickered before he started snoring again.

Melissa rolled her eyes and let her chart slide into the holder outside of Lydia's room and all but stomped to the nurse's station to get started on a different task.  Kat laughed and sat beside Stiles, moving Spencer's legs and letting them lay across her lap.  He groaned and turned over, laying on his back, his mouth hanging open as he snored louder than before.

"As disgusted as I am that he's having weird sex dreams about my best friend, his sleep talking is hilarious," Kat commented, letting her head fall onto Stiles' shoulder.

Stiles huffed out a quiet laugh, not taking his eyes off his computer screen, "Yeah, until you've heard it for thirty-six hours straight."

Kat's face twisted into disgust, "He does this every time he falls asleep?" Stiles nodded, looking at Kat with disdain as the McCall girl stood up. "That's honestly repulsive."

"You're telling me," Stiles grumbled, cringing before shaking his head to get the thought out of his head.

Before Kat could respond, Lydia's door opened, and Mr. Martin walked out, running a hand down his face and sighing.  He took in the boys on the chairs, his hands on his hips and brows furrowed in questioning.  Then, he looked at Kat, motioning for her to walk over as he stated, "They've been here all night."
