The setter heard the annoying beeps of his alarm going off, slamming it into oblivion. He rubbed his eyes and picked up his phone, glancing at the time, also acknowledging Yoichi's text.

"What the— what time is it?" He groggily muttered and squinted his eyes at his smashed alarm clock. His eyes widened, glancing between Yoichi's text and the actual time.

"Ha—!" He speedily replied to the Aoba Johsai student, throwing on a pair of torn black jeans, complimenting them with a tucked white t-shirt.

(A/N: Here's the text convo between Yoichi and Akihiko).

Akihiko raced out the door without saying goodbye to his parents. The Kageyama couple flashed each other a puzzled look, but shrugged it off since he was sixteen years old now.

The poor black haired boy sprinted to the theatre as fast as his legs could carry him. He was relieved it was typically a fifteen minute walk, but since he was extremely late, he had to bolt to his destination.

Panting and out of breath, Akihiko managed to arrive at eleven twenty-nine. Yoichi smirked and said, "I'm glad you were able to get here, despite looking like a disaster."

"H-Hey, I tried, o-okay?" The Karasuno setter shot him an unamused, but flustered glare. It dawned on the wing spiker that Akihiko did indeed try to look decent today. With that thought in mind, Yoichi couldn't resist blushing.

Although, since Yoichi began to blush, Akihiko followed suit. "D-Dumbass, let's go get food. T-The movie's about to begin in fifteen minutes." The slightly taller boy broke the blushing fest between them, making his cool off slowly, but surely.

They ended up getting a large bucket of popcorn to share as well as a large drink to share. They had two straws, of course.

Their seats were near the back of the theater and Akihiko raised an eyebrow in suspicion. "I'm not making out with you."

"I-I never said we were, H-Hiko-chan!" Yoichi's face began to turn red again and he stormed to their seats, bits of popcorn flying out of their bucket.

He's always so flustered, Akihiko thought, feeling his face burn up. W-Wait! I-I'm so weird, w-why am I even thinking that?

He shook his head, clearing his head from any perverted or romantic thoughts that roamed his mind. He quickly found his 'date' and sat next to him.

"The movie's about to begin!" Akihiko exclaimed, completely forgetting about the comment he had made earlier. Yoichi grinned, giving up on holding back his true emotions for the setter.

I hope he shows his too, the brown haired boy hoped quietly.

(A/N: Time skip to the middle of the movie!)

Their popcorn was nearly gone, which was no surprise considering that they both didn't have breakfast. Who doesn't eat most of their popcorn at the beginning of a movie anyway?

Yoichi subtly glanced over at Akihiko. He was clearly invested in the movie, so he decided that it was now or never.

The wing spiker was going to take his chance.

He slid his hand on top of Akihiko's, noticing the setter's face flush a bright red color. Yoichi quickly turned away, hoping that he would hold it.

His hoping worked.

They were holding hands.

They both thought in sync,

Is he truly in love with me?
