Then there was Augustus who was wearing jean shorts and a red and white stripy shirt, eating some chocolate of course and he had brought his mother who was wearing a bit to much makeup and a very loud dress.

Next was Violet who had on a blue tracksuit and a golden puffy jacket, she had brought her mother who was dressed the exact same.

After that was Mike, Sam looked at him a little longer than the other kids, she had to admit he was pretty cute and he had brought his creepily average looking father.

Finally was her best friend in the entire world, Charlie. And he had brought his grandpa Joe. Sam was shocked that he was up and out of bed.

"Dear Visitors, it is my great honour to welcome you to our humble factory, and who am I well....."

He stepped down from the speaker and took Sam's hand, they walked outside to where all the guests were and stood next to the salts however none of them noticed as their attention was on the doors that were opening to show a red curtain.

Somehow Sam slipped on a but of ice and Will put his hands on her shoulders making sure she didn't fall. When he asked if she was OK Mr Salt heard and turned to his left to see the pair. He looked at Will with an annoyed look but it soon left his face when he looked at Sam.

She could feel someones eyes on her so she turned to her left and caught Me Salts eye, he gave her a wink and a quite scary looking smile. She quickly turned to face forward.

Sam squeezed her dad's hand tighter causing him to look at her and her discomfort didn't go unnoticed. He saw that she was slightly shifting away from Mr Salt. He caught the man's gaze and glared at him fiercely.

They all turned their attention back to the puppet show as the music began to play.

Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka
The amazing chocolatier
Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka
Everybody give a cheer
Horray

He's modest, clever and so smart
He barley can restrain it
With so much generosity
There is no where to contain it

To contain, to contain, to contain

Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka
He's the one that your about to meet
Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka
He's a genius who just can't be beat
A magician and a chocolate Wiz
He's the best darn guy who ever lived
Willy Wonka here he is

Sparks began to fly and the puppets were Catching on fire. It was a horrid sight they were melting and their eyes were falling out and the music kept getting more distorted till it eventually stopped.

Will started clapping and everyone in the line turned to face him. Charlie looked and Sam and she looked at him too, they both smiled at each other and Sam waved at Charlie. Mike saw this and began to feel a bit angry and jealous.

"Wasn't that just magnificent, I was worried that it was getting a little dodgy in the middle part, but that finalie, wow"

He walked up to the steps taking Sam with him and they both stood to face everyone. They were all giving them unimpressed looks except for Mike, Charlie and his grandpa Joe.

"Who are you?" Voliet asked.

"He's Willy Wonka and that's his daughter Samantha" Grandpa Joe said Sam smiled at him gretafully.

"Good morning Starshine, the earth says hello"

Sam face palmed, embarrassed by her dad's awkwardness. She nudged him with her elbow and indicated to the cards that were in his coat pocket. He took them out and read them aloud to the crowd.

"Dear guests, greetings, welcome to the factory. I shake you warmly by the hand"

He held out his fans for people to shake but nobody moved. Charlie noticed the annoyance on his friends face so he stepped forward and shook the land gloved hand.

"Hello, sir my name is Charlie"

"My name is Willy Wonka and this is my daughter Samantha"

The two children looked at each other and tried their best to stifle their laughter causing Wonka to frown in confusion at them. Charlie walked back over to his grandpa.

"Shouldn't you be up there?" Veruca rudely asked pointing to the red velvet throne in the middle of the stage.

"Well, there is only one chair so there would be no where for Sam to sit and I couldn't very well watch the show from up there now could I little girl?"

"Mr Wonka I don't know if you remember me but I used to work here at the factory"

"Were you one of those dispicable spies who everyday tired to steal my life's work and sell it to those parasitic copy cat, candy making, cads"

Sam stepped on her dad's foot and he snapped his head towards her.

"Dad, don't be so rude" she whisper shouted at him

"I have to make sure Sam"

She sighed and they turned back to the buckets.

"No sir" Joe said in a shaky voice.

A smile then reappeared on Will's face.

"Wonderful then welcome back, let's get a move on kids"

He turned on his heel and began walking into the factory. Sam sneakily slipped away and went to stand with Charlie and his grandpa.

"Sorry about that Joe"

"It's perfectly fine Sam"

She hugged both Charlie and his Grandpa Joe, they all started talking about how brilliant this all was and how excited they were .They all followed the candy man past all the burning puppets.
