They arrived at the hospital and Cole helped Kai inside. Lucky for them the hospital was actually having a slow day with not many patients. So when the two ninja came in nurses raced to help him. "We need to get you in the operation room," a nurse said who had been called down as Kai was helped into a wheelchair. "Are they going to be okay?" Cole asks. "Yes we just need to call the surgeon he's performed similar surgeries with his records are highly valued. He should be here within the next hour," a nurse explains to Cole. "We will be fine Cole," Kai said wincing as a contraction hit. They were escorted to a private room where they would wait until the doctor arrives. "How much longer?" Kai breaths out in a pained voice. "Not much longer sweetie you are doing great," Cole said. 
                          
Outside the room in the lobby the ninja plus Cole and Kai's parents had arrived the masters were still on their way. They were waiting anxiously for the surgeon to arrive because he was taking longer than predicted. "Where is that dam surgeon?! If we wait any longer than they might both die," Ray said getting irritated and Maya was not much better. "Was he like this when you gave birth to Kai and me?" Nya asks. "No he was much worse," Maya said. "I fainted when Lilly's water broke," Lou admits. Suddenly they heard Cole yell. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE IS NOT COMING?!" Cole yelled. Everyone was on edge by that, but Zane was the only one who got up since he had enough medical knowledge to have some help. Cole had his hands in his head as the nurse was explaining something to him. 
                          
"Cole what is the problem?" Zane asks. "The surgeon is not going to come he is apparently sick with the stomach bug, but he is the only one who can get here in time," Cole said clearly upset. Zane was silent before coming up with a idea. "Cole I know every medical procedure ever recorded and could preform it for them. I can deliver your child," Zane said. Cole looked at Zane then the nurse who shrugs. "If he has the records he is technically allowed," They answered. "But," Cole said. "I am literally your only option right now," Zane said. "But Zane we. you. see. It's not just one child Zane," Cole said and Zane was not following. "We wanted it to be a surprise. We are having triplets," Cole confesses to Zane. Zane's eyes went wide, but his determination was not deterred. 
                          
"Then it just makes it more imperative to do this Cole I am their only hope," Zane said. Cole looked at the door Kai was waiting in unaware of what was happening. "Please be careful of all of them," Cole said and Zane nodded. 
                          
Cole's POV and he is as nervous as ever
                          
I was pacing back and forth anxiously waiting like everyone else. They all hoped Zane was doing a good job or at least keeping Kai and the children alive though nobody else knew though that it was triplets that were expected except the soon to be grandparents. I was a mess my hair matted and bags under my eyes. 
                          
Anyway a few coffees later a nurse came out and called. "Brook-stone?" I shot up from my chair faster than you could say spinjitzu. "Yes?" I asked nervously stuttering slightly. "The surgery went well your husband is still asleep, but the father is permitted to go see them," The nurse said and I looked back at the others. "Go on the father should always be the first to meet the children," Maya said. Everyone nodded for me to go ahead and I did with no hesitation. 
                          
I got to the room and found Zane exiting the door. I hugged him tight and had tears falling down my face. "I do not know if I can ever repay you," I said. "You are my brother I will always do what I need too do now go say hello to your babies," Zane said supportively. "Thank you," I said then went in while Zane went to explain that everything was fine. 
                          
I wall in and my eyes land on Kai peacefully sleeping on the hospital bed. I on went over to my beautiful ninja love and kissed his forehead softly. "You did great fire-bird," I said than heard a soft cry of a newborn. I turned my head to three hospital cots and carefully walked over to them. I have faced snakes the size of skyscrapers, human snakes, over lords, djinns wanting to marry my husband, time travelling twins, marrying his love and getting nearly killed on the wedding day, facing his evil version of his un-dead Sensei Garmadon, facing evil bringers of doom, and now I have never been more terrified. I was scared of fainting again. I looked over and cried seeing them all they were all beautiful.
