"I remember that night so well. Everyone smiling as they weaved baskets. Telling scary stories around the fire. Though as this happened, i heard the sound of a flute. My eyes grew heavier and heavier, i couldn't manage to stay awake. All i remember...
"...you dare to interrupt the concert. Very well, then it seems i need to discipline you children."
As Salieri held a sword in his right hand, he lifts his left hand in the air as if he was holding a violin. Soon he begins to use the sword in his hand to strum the air as if he was playing an actual violin. However, Yashiro noticed that she could actually here a violin playing.
As Salieri played, more of his minions appeared as from a black mist. They all charged at Shiki with incredible speed as they held their spears. Seeing this, Shiki jumped from one wall to another. As he did this he saw the lines of death on the minions.

"I'll show you what it means....to truly kill something."
As Shiki lands on the ground, he dashed forward with inhuman speed. As the minions surround him, Yashiro looked worried for a moment. However, she was surprised when she saw all the minions were sliced into pieces as Shiki made his way to Salieri.
"Yashiro, look out!!!!"
Hanako was in front of Yashiro as he cuts down some of the minions that Salieri sent after them. Soon Hanako picks up Yashiro as they ran out the music room.
"Hanako-kun, we have to go back. We can't just leave Shiki there by himself."
"He can take care of himself....trust me."
~Flashback~ "Listen Hanako, when we go to the music and there's a chance a student is there, i want you to take them and leave as fast as you can. Especially if its Kou or Yashiro."
Hanako looked at Shiki and saw the serious look on his face. Shiki didn't want Yashiro involved in what he might be doing.
"I don't want Yashiro or Kou to see me when i'm like this. I don't want to look like a killer or a monster in their eyes. We don't even need to be friends, if i can just protect them...even i'm nothing but their upperclassmen to them.......as long as they're safe, then i'm fine just being their upperclassmen."
~Flashback ends~ "Yashiro.........have faith in him. After all, he's your senpai isn't he."
"...........right."
As the two manage to escape from the music room, Salieri and Shiki stared at each other. How ironic, a room dedicated to music was filled with nothing but silence.
"Boy....your hands are stained with blood just like myself. How? How can you be so calm, how can you move pass such an act?"
"Move pass it....you've got it wrong. I never got over it. Besides....if i somehow did manage to get over it then i wouldn't be a human anymore."
Salieri swung the blade he had in his hand at Shiki. Seeing this, Shiki jumped to the side and quickly sweeps Salieri's leg. As Shiki went to stab Salieri, the man puts his hands in the air as a dark mist forms underneath him. As he moves his hands as if playing a piano, a great number of his minions were at his side.
