Toms POV

This day was going to be the worst. Why you may ask? Well, my hearing aids battery is fried so I'd have to go out and buy a new battery, there will be downsizing at my job so I have to actually work, and today marks a year since Tords death!

Hell only three months ago Tord was acting all real and shit in my dreams and it's really been taking a toll on me. It's gotten to me so badly that I, well, found a way to... relieve my stress.

I walked out of the bathroom making sure my sleeves covered my arms. Edd and Matt had the day off today so I was the only one who had to work. Of course it's now the afternoon and I just got back, but I still don't like to work.

"Hey Edd, do you think you could come with me tomorrow to buy a new battery for my hearing aid?"

"Of course, but will you be fine without it at work tomorrow?"

I felt myself sigh and then smiled, "Edd, I got the job without being able to hear, so I think I'll be fine."

Edd smiled and nodded in defeat. "Alright, go get dressed we're about to leave."

I nodded and left to the bedroom. Because today marks a year of Tords death, Edd decided that we should go visit the old house and pay our respects. I thought it was stupid but they seemed to really want to go. So I got dressed in a pair of black jeans and my blue hoodie, shit it's been awhile since I wore it out. When I walked out of the room, Edd and Matt signed for me to follow them, guess we were leaving now.

Before I walked out the door, I turned back and opened the fridge. I pulled out a bottle of Smirnoff and ignored the looks Edd and Matt gave me. We all got into Edds car and drove for 5 minutes to the old house. Once we got out of the car, most of the rubble had been cleared out but there still was a lot left. Edd pulled out a picture while Matt pulled out some candles. They planned this all out, but I didn't help. Why should I?

They placed down a framed photo of Tord with candles surrounding it. We didn't light the candles yet, but we sat down in front of this alter looking thing and looked up at the sky. None of us said a word. At least, I don't think they did.

It was about to turn 7 when the sky started to dim. Matt tapped my shoulder and he held out my hearing aids to me.

"I found some batteries that fit, they won't work for long, but it should be enough for right now."

I nodded and gave a slight smile. I put them in and looked to him.

"They work?"

"Yup."

Edd then stood up so Matt and I did the same.

"Well, lets start."

Edd reached into his pocket but ended up patting himself looking for something.

"Matt, do you have the lighter?"

Matt then proceeded to pat himself down and shook his head.

Well, I took up smoking as a stress reliever so I always carried Tords tin around, I didn't tell the guys because I didn't want them bugging me about it. I walked off and went straight to the car, I took the tin out and grabbed the lighter out of it. Yeah, I finally fixed the damn thing so it wouldn't be a bitch to open.

I went back and handed Edd the lighter. He thanked me and began to light the candles. Once they were lit, Edd returned the lighter to me and we just looked at the alter.

"Alright, I think it's time we talked." Edd spoke up.

I just looked at him questionably and Matt nodded.
