*Liam's POV
I nuzzled Lucy's ear and she opened one eye at me. "Liaaam," she complained, turning her back on me. "I'm trying to sleeep." I wrapped my arms around her waist and hugged her close. She didn't object as I kissed her neck. "Liam if you don't stop, I'm seriously going to-" she threatened sleepily in her sexy morning voice.
"Going to what?" I asked, enjoying teasing her.
"I won't go with you later and you'll miss me all Christmas," she finished, opening her gorgeous green eyes and gave me a quick kiss on my nose.
"You wouldn't dare," I whispered softly.
She laughed. "You have no idea what I'm capable of." She pushed my hands off her waist. "God Liam let me sleeep! I'm dead tired and it's like 5 in the morning. Shut up and stop bothering me or I'll kick you out of this bed."
"This is MY bed!" I cried, pretending to sound horrified. "And your Minnie Mouse pajamas are really sexy." I hooked my finger in the hole in the sleeve of the shirt by her elbow and pulled it gently. She swatted my hand away and rolled away from me.
"Liaaamm," she complained as I wrapped my arms around her waist again. "I can't sleep and then I'll look like a zombie in front of your mother."
Yup, I was bringing Lucy home for Christmas. We were spending a week back home. Only Mum and Dad would be there, Ruth and Nicola were obviously still in college and working. Mum kept calling me all last night to make sure Lucy wasn't allergic to anything or if she was a vegetarian or whatnot. I told her Lucy ate everything, which is true because I knew she gained a few pounds lately because I brought her out for fancy dinners every night since the flash mob.
Of course, it came together better than I even imagined. Part of me worried she was going to say no in front of 5 thousand of her friends and family. I knew I broke her heart and all the lads told me how much she cried in the hotel after I left. But nothing was worse than the empty weeks and months left in my schedule when she was gone. Lucy was like the flashlight in a endless sea of darkness, she lit up my life. Literally. She's just an amazing girl and letting her go was the worst decision of my life. I did cry for a long time after it and obviously I was so pissed off at Harry. He told me the truth and it was the biggest relief of my life. Lucy didn't cheat on me! She didn't break my heart in two!
Maybe I'm still kind of sore about it but it's mostly okay because Lucy is here now and that's all that matters. I love her. And the fact that she would just willingly let me back into her life after I stomped on her poor heart, it just reinforces the love I feel for her because she's really the most sweet, forgiving and amazing girl in the world.
I even worked out everything with Harry, who's now rumored to be dating Taylor Swift... Not that we know much because he's really insistent on being very 'shy' and I know Harry and he's in no way shy. EVER.
We were driving back home and it would take average about 3 hours, 3 and a half at the most. We were leaving around noon later and arriving two days early of Christmas to visit some family and spend some quality time back home. I was definitely excited to show her around.
*
I snuck out of bed around 9.30am to make some breakfast and surprise Lucy with breakfast in bed. I realized my fridge was empty and sneaked out of the flat for some groceries hoping she won't wake up soon. Hurrying upstairs to my flat again, I quickly made some pancakes and eggs and bacon, typical breakfast stuff. I considered if she wanted cereal.
I tossed a bowl of fresh strawberries and blueberries, a plate of pancakes drizzled with maple syrup with scrambled eggs and ham on the side and a tall glass of milk with a cup of coffee on a tray. Then gently I brought it to her in my bedroom. She was snoring softly on my big white bed with the morning sunlight spilling into the room. I kissed her awake and she literally jerked up.
