Walking around the cafeteria, I started searching for a particular greenette. After a couple seconds, I finally saw him waiting in line for some lunch of his own!

"Hey Midoriya!" I waved as I walked to him.

"Oh! Hey, (Y/N)! I hope you're feeling better!" he smiled.

"Yes, thank you for worrying, but you don't happen to know where Todoroki is do you?"

"Oh! Yes, I do, but why are you looking for him?" he asked.

"That's a bit personal, but I just want to find him quickly before our lunch break ends," I said quickly.

"Oh, alright then! Last time I saw him, he was heading towards the cherry blossom trees at the front of our school!"

"Thank you!" I bowed quickly as I walked towards the said location.

"Your welcome! And goodluck!" I heard him say.

'Ah, he must have a clue of why I'm talking to Todoroki, what a smart boy!'

I finally exited the noisy cafeteria and went outside to the fresh open air.

There were a small amount of students surrounding the area and there were some pro heroes, but most of them were either busy cooling off for the next round of the festival, or just eating their lunch.

I walked away farther and farther from the cafeteria and the chatters of the students soon became no more then a small ringing in my ear.

There I stood, at the beautiful sight of the cherry blossoms and there was the boy that I had avoided. His back was turned to me, not noticing my presence at all.

He looks so carefree looking up at the pink blossoms. Petals from the flowers filled the ground beneath him and made him even look even more perfect then he already was.

My heart fluttered as I took in the sight. I stood there...just admiring him and the foliage. I walked one step closer until I heard a familiar tune...

It was more of, a lullaby. A familiar one at that. The lullaby that I had sang to him all those nights ago, a song that I had treasured from my parents, he was humming it.

My heart ached as I remembered those memories from that day, but I sucked in the pain as I took one last step. A small crunch was heard and that's when the dual-colored haired boy finally noticed me and turned to me with a sad expression on his face.

"Hello...Todoroki," I greeted awkwardly.

"(L/N), what are you doing here?" he asked.

"I could ask you the same."

There was a moment of awkwardness between us for a second, but I had to let him know no matter what.

"I just wanted to apologize-"

"No, I should be the one apologizing," he interrupted,

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gotten mad at you at the beginning of this sports festival. I let out my anger on you and I'm becoming just like my father..."

"No, it's my fault as well-"

"STOP APOLOGIZING TO ME!" he yelled as tears welled up in his eyes, "I told you to stay away from me and yet here you are."

"Well, to be perfectly honest, I wouldn't have if my glod friends didn't talk to me about it," I confessed.

"It doesn't matter!" he cried, "if I were you, I would have just moved on from someone as pathetic as I am!" he yelled as he fell to the ground.

'I've never seen him so vulnerable...was he carrying this burden throughout the festival?!'

"Don't say that about yourself, I didn't fall in love with you without a reason!" I said loudly, "you aren't weak, but you aren't strong either. It's why we have allies...they keep us strong and with friends and family, it's easier to stay positive, it's what they're for!" I replied as I hugged the crying figure.

"You know...when I saw you obliviate, I thought I lost you...I was so worried, I didn't know what to do. You PROMISED that it wouldn't happen again...and you broke it. Do you know how much that hurt?"

"I...I'm sorry, I just really wanted to win and I didn't want to lose to you, I was so angry and...my emotions took over me..."

"That doesn't matter."

I sighed at his statement and he finally looked up to me. Oh, how I missed those gorgeous heterochromatic eyes of his.

"Why are you even here?..You should be resting and preparing for the next round, why are you wasting your time on me?"

"I came here because I wanted to and I wanted to make things right, I'm sorry for being so cold to you as well, I didn't know how much of a predicament you were in...I was being selfish, so I am also to blame."

"Heh..." he laughed slightly.

"Hm?" I asked in confusion.

"That lullaby you sang to me when I was in so much distress...where did you learn it?"

I smiled at him and I looked to the sky, I guess he deserves to know, "I learned it from my parents, they always sang it to me, now I sing it to them. They're just above the clouds, living happily up there," I said pointing to the blue sky.

"I see...but this also reminds me of one of the first happiest memories we've made."

"Oh?"

"Don't tell me you forgot," he smilee, "we were acting like children at the park and we rolled around in the petals of cherry blossoms like this one," he pointed out.

"Hm, I guess you're right!" I smiled.

"Are we alright?" he asked one more time with a gleam of hope in his eyes.

"..."

"I know things won't be like they used to, but I just know that with your help, I'll be able to get past any obstacle that come in my way."

"It's not that I don't forgive you, I was just remembering why I fell in love with you in the first place and how that was the best accident I've ever made.

"So falling in love with me was an accident? I feel offended," he joked.

Soon afterwards, jokes and laughter filled the air, the tension from earlier was finally cleared and I was happy once more.

"Oh, remember that maid cafe?" Sho asked.

"What about it?" I asked raising my eyebrow.

"Why do you have to wear that unifor-"

And he earned a small slap in the face.

"I didn't fall in love with you because I was lonely or lost, I fell in love with you because after getting to know you, I realized that I wanted to make you a permanent part of my world."
