The day had finally come. It was christmas eve and all of the One Direction boys or now better say men were comfortably wrapped up in blankets on Niall's couch in his house in ireland. They had all agreed to meet up with his family again and to stay on the beautiful, wild countryside for a week. Maura, Bobby and Greg, Niall's parents and big brother, had stayed with them for the last days and had left this morning to get everything set up for dinner tonight. 
                          
The four lads from Bradford, Wolverhampton, Doncaster and Holmes Chapel would fly back to england in a few hours to spent christmas with their individual families. But until then, they would stay right where they were at this very moment and only move if it was seriously necessary. They had already celebrated Louis birthday, which meant they had given him his presents, Harry had kissed him senseless and they had all exchanged christmas presents to unwrap the next morning. 
                          
The TV was on, white snow was glowing and falling outside, fairy lights were hung up everywhere, the christmas tree was standing in a corner of the living room and the lads were talking about everything that came to their minds. 
                          
Just when Liam was about to speak up, the news caught the attention of the five men on the sofa and as soon as they understood the words of the guy, who was talking on the flat screen right now, a massive and collective grin went through the group. This was going to be one last thing, they had always known their fans wanted so badly but they had never released it. And since everything was so much better after the reunion, they had to re-shoot and edit the whole thing. But now it was done and ready to be released and five seconds later, the premier started and it played for the first time ever, on international television, live, for everyone to see. 
                          
"... And here it is! This is a christmas present from the One Direction lads themselves to all their fans, as a thank you and a promise to always and forever be there for them. Sounds almost like infinity, if i'm not mistaken. Directioners! You lot have been begging for this to be released for years now and you're finally getting it. Happy Christmas and now... enjoy... the first time ever... watching... the Infinity music video!" Roman Kemp announced and the countdown started.

Flashing lights, blurred and rushed images apperead on the screen and everything blended together perfectly into one collective rush of colours and pictures of the past moving around in circles. 
                          
The constant feeling of pressure and stress during their first years as a band, the feeling of not being able to breath and to take a break, the feeling of losing control over times and places due to their non-stop world tours and they hadn't been able to get out of it. The feeling of just falling deeper into both love and also rushed life on the road. 
                          
And now I'm one step closer to being

The pictures of the individual members from 2010 appeared and then turned into black and whites from 2016. They had changed so much and they weren't able to go back and to be who they really were. Management had changed them too much. Everybody wanted them for different reasons like money and fame but never for their personalities, never for who they really were deep inside and nobody saw their true selves which were hidden from the spotlights. Crowds of running and screaming fans were visible, making the chaos perfect.
