About 20 minutes later I was done being fed and the nurse left. So I decided to ask a question:" umm Quinton can you leave a sec I need to talk to dad". He nodded and left. 
                          
Dad looked confused at why Quinton had to leave until I said:" umm..........."
                          
Meaghan's POV 
Until I said:"umm dad I have a little question for you....". He didn't seem to suspicious and just said:" okay". I took a deep breath and said:" okay well just promise you won't be mad😬" he replied:" Meaghan sweetie your worrying me I won't get mad just tell me". He said it softly and calming. So I continued:" okay well I was wondering what you thought about the hoel dating situation because you haven't said anything to I decate yes or no so....." 
                          
He looked confused then said:" Meghan ofc you can go out with someone but why would I be mad?". I didn't know I'd I should tell him or not and while I was thinking he said:" you know you can talk to me right." 
                          
I nodded and said:" Well umm at the orphanage we were allowed out to this park everyday between 12 and 5pm. Well this group of guys used to be there around the same time everyday. And me and one of the guys started talking and stuff. We'll he asked me out and I said ya. But when the orphanage found out they beat me and screamed at me for weeks afterwards and I had to break up with him. They said a girl doesn't need a guy in her life and that men are evil. I never believed them because dad was the nicest man ever. So I guess I was just nervous you would get mad."
                          
I looked down the hole time I was speaking and didn't look up. After I was done there was a tear in my eye. There was also one in dad's. He hugged me real tight and said that it was okay and I could date or like who I wanted within reason. He tried lightening up the mood by saying that he didn't want to be a grandfather though. That made me laugh a bit before hugging dad again.
                          
I said thanks to dad while hugging him. He kissed the top of my head and hugged me tightly before letting go. He got a text the swayla group chat:
