Bonnie stirred in her sleep, dreaming about how someone was whispering her name.

She jolted upright when she was awoken by a slap to her thigh. She yelped in surprise, coming face to face with Lydia.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty. Or should I say... Good afternoon." Lydia laughed, shaking her head at her cousin. Bonnie blinked sleepily, furrowing her eyebrows.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, earning a scoff from Lydia.

"Charming, that wasn't the warm welcome home I was expecting.."

"Sorry, I just thought that you said that you were being released from hospital at 3 today." Bonnie answered, explaining her confusion. Lydia nodded.

"I did get released at 3." She answered, an amused pout playing on her lips. Bonnie's eyes went wide.

"What?" She asked, quickly leaning over and picking up her phone from her bedside table. "It's 4.30!?"

"Yup. Mom said when she came to see if you wanted to come with her to pick me up, she had a five minute conversation with you about muffins and school." Lydia smiled as she shrugged. "Then she realised that you were asleep the whole time."

Bonnie rolled her eyes before letting out a laugh.

"I really do have a problem with talking in my sleep." She admitted.

"What time did you go to bed?" Lydia questioned, narrowing her eyes at her.

"I don't know, it was sometime in the early hours of the morning though. I have to fill you in on what happened last night." Bonnie told her.

"What do you mean? What happened?" Lydia tucked her hair behind her ear, her eyebrows furrowing.

"After I left from seeing you, I got a text from Kira asking how quickly I could get to the hospital, obviously I was already there, so I went up to the room she told me they were in." Bonnie began.

"Who's they?" Lydia asked. "The pack?"

"Just Scott and Kira.." Bonnie answered, "And a boy named Corey... Do you know him?"

Lydia shook her head whispering a 'no'.

"He's in Liam and Mason's year. He was attacked by the second chimera." She told Lydia, who's eyes grew wide.

"Who was it?"

"Lucas." Bonnie informed her, making Lydia shrug. "Corey's boyfriend, I think... He was a half scorpion, half werewolf."

"Was?" Lydia asked, turning her head to the side slightly.

"They killed him." Bonnie stated, slumping in her bed, her mind taking her back to the three of them standing on that balcony.

"Who?" Lydia asked, having a small idea who she meant, but she needed her to say it.

"The masked people." Bonnie informed her. "They shot him with a retractable arrow and said he was a failure."

Bonnie looked down, taking a quick glance at her phone. She saw a message from Josh Diaz on Facebook. She clicked on it, furrowing her eyebrows.

Hey, I know Lydia's party is pushed back to next weekend but I know someone that's having a party tonight. Wanna come?

Bonnie looked up at Lydia.

"Josh has invited me to a party tonight." Bonnie said as her eyes met Lydia's. Lydia smiled.

"Well you're definitely going. I'll help you get ready." She pushed, reading the hesitant look on Bonnie's face. She raised her eyebrows as she stood up. "Theo might be there."
