Isa isa na silang nagsitayuan at nagsilabasan ng meeting room.
I seat back and massage my temple.
This day is so tiring. May isa pa akong meeting mamayang hapon at bibisita pa ako sa site sa Pampanga kung saan pinapatayo ang bago kong bahay.
"Let's eat lunch together, Amore."
Tinapik ako ng kambal ko at nauna nang lumabas ng meeting room.
I sighed and get my bag that is placed on the table as well as the folders with important documents on it.
"I have something to check in my office first." Sabi ko sa kambal ko at binuksan ang pinto ng opisina ko.
Hinubad ko ang suot kong coat at pinatong sa likod ng upuan.
I check my schedule for this week and gladly wala akong meetings so I could take a break.
I also check some papers and documents regarding the sales report and the resumes for my new secretary.
Kumuha ako ng panibagong top sa mini cabinet ko at nag palit sa banyo.
I sprayed some Jo Malone perfume and put some lipgloss before going out the bathroom.
I heard a knock on my office door, it's probably my twin.
"Coming!"
I grabbed my bag and get out of the room.
Nauna na akong maglakad papunta sa elevator at pinindot ang button.
Some employees bowed their head and greeted us. I just smiled.
Sinalubong kami ng tirik na araw ngunit malamig na hangin paglabas ng kumpanya.
It's already December, that's why the wind is slightly cold.
"So, how's your house construction going?"
Jordan asked.
Pinunasan ko ang gilid ng labi ko bago ako sumagot.
"Okay naman. Tapos na daw yung first and second floor, they're starting to build the third floor. I'll go check it later."
Tumango naman siya at uminom sa baso.
"Bakit mo na naman naisipan magpatayo ng bahay? Tapos sa Pampanga pa?"
Napatawa naman ako sa sinabi niya.
"Wala, trip ko lang."
He scoffed.
"Trip? Sana trip trip lang din yung perang ginastos mo. May bahay ka naman dito, may condo sa Makati, Taguig, at Quezon City, katatapos lang din ng rest house mo sa Baguio at Cebu. Yung totoo, Amore?"
"Bakit ka ba kasi nangingealam, huh?! Alam mo, kung inggit ka, magpagawa ka rin ng sayo! Mas marami ka pa ngang pera kesa sa akin." I pouted.
Bakit? Totoo naman. He is the damn CEO of Salvadore de Jesus Group of Companies. Mas mapera yan kesa sa akin.
"Na ah. I'm saving my money for my future family."
"Future family, whatever. Hindi ka nga sinipot nung engagement party diba?"
I laughed.
He glared at me and I glared back at him.
"Wait and see my dear sister. I'm just giving her more time and space, and once I make a move, I'm sure I'll win her this time."
I can see the burning passion in his eyes. He's really inlove with that girl, even though na she's a bitch.
I rolled my eyes and sipped a water on my glass.
