The sweet smell of brownies wafted into Kogane's living room, filling the entire room with the scent of chocolate. Iori was sure this house was heaven, no doubt about it. She had made brownies as a second-to-last-day-of-summer-break celebration tool, seeing as they had school tomorrow.

"Dude, this looks way too good," Kogane said, turning around. "Like, way too good. I think I unlocked something."

"Did we advance to the next level of the game?" Iori joked, hopping up out of the couch and over to Kogane's hunched form. The brownies, did, in fact, look way too good. Almost too good to be true.

"I feel like you poisoned these."

"Man, I feel like I did too," Kogane said. Both of them stared at the pan in silence, as if there was some kind of hidden message somewhere on top of the dark brown surface. Of course, their hypnotic brownie experience was interrupted by knocking at the door.

In a surprising turn of events, Kogane and Iori had spent a significant amount of time hanging out with—none other—than the twins for the past few weeks. For Iori, this meant that they had gotten over their weird competitive crush on her.

And so, her stress washed away. Now, she was just waiting for a response from Tennoritsu, and after that, all would be well. Kogane opened the door, giving them a look before walking back to the kitchen.

"Do you think we could poison them and then give them to your sister?"

"Maybe then we could be at my house instead."

"That's the goal, you idiot."

"Jesus Christ, what did you make, Kogane?" Atsumu said, strolling in. Iori hadn't realized how short she was compared to the three of them, but, then again, they were all on sports teams that, mostly, required height.

"Brownies," she responded. "I feel like God possessed me while I was making them, though. I blacked out and then I was standing in front of them."

"They look really good," Osamu chorused, standing behind Iori and looking over her head. She almost felt offended at the fact that he could do that. "Can I have one?"

"Not yet. We need to receive a sign that we're worthy enough to consume them."

"We aren't Catholic?" Iori responded. "I haven't been to church since I was eight years old. Let me have one."
