CHAPTER 8: Foreign Surroundings

"..Excuse me?"

☮ ❆ ☮

"Eh..? Isn't that alright? Your apartment can fit two more people, haven't I crashed at your place before?" Tsukauchi smirked, eyeing the two teens.

With a bit of thought and hesitation, Aizawa silently agreed. Quite easily if the detective had to say.

"How about you two, is that alright? We don't risk puting you in foster homes and let those villains catch you." He smiled at the two bewildered teen and pre-teen.

"Of course! Mister Eraserhead is very nice to help us escape!" Izuki beamed to no one in particular.

"Atta boy! We need to ask you two a few questions first, if you don't mind." The ink-haired detective grew serious. They'd been ignoring this factor since Aizawa laid eyes on the green-headed boy.

Dabi decided to speak up, "Is it about his blindfold..?" His tone was hushed, he didn't want to seem rude.

"Ah..no and yes. It would seem weird if we didn't ask." Tsukauchi replied, rubbing his palms. "His quirk hasn't been registered but when I asked around the neighborhood where Ms.Midoriya was last seen, I chanced upon a clinic that already knew about his quirk. It was quite easy to describe the boy, I was given information about his quirk soon after." The detective explained, fiddling with the ends of the file he held.

"You never told me this, what's his quirk?" Aizawa asked, silently thanking another detective who gave him some coffee.

"Its as you might expect its related to the blindfold he's wearing." Tsukauchi handed the pro-hero the file. Soon reading each word, intrigued.

"Patient's Name: Izuku Midoriya

Quirk: Unidentified

Description of Quirk: Can kill or halt one's lifespan with a mere look.

Hereditary?

Unrelated to genes, no family has a quirk related to said patient"

It didn't take long for Aizawa to read it, the file was short and simple with a few unnecessary information here and there.

The pro-hero cocked an eyebrow, he was suprised at the quirk the boy had. It was suited for a villain but as long as this individual doesn't wish for a villainous path, Aizawa will do anything in his capabilities to make the young boy a certified..

Hero.

Right after the two asked the younger boy's some questions, a certain pair of familiar pro-heroes entered and gave Izuku an unexpected hug. He couldn't see who it was, but it sure was warm. It was a familiar warmth he got used to but soon lost it 2 and a half years ago.

Izuku was happy to have it back.

Shigaraki was scratching his neck for the past hour, enraged and a little betrayed.

Why did the two closest to his age had to up and leave when they spent 2 years training together?

He was going to get back at them, just you wait.

All for One has been informed of this mess, he first asked when it happened and how. He was scarily calm and composed, the opposite of what Kurogiri, Shigaraki and Compress expected.

He sat in his chair, one leg crossed and elbows parted for his hands to meet his chin.

Kurogiri was first to speak, "Im sorry master, I didn't anticipate for this to happen." He lied through his nonexistent teeth.

"Fear not, I do not blame any of you. I guess my boy felt a little uncomfortable in this dingy place; to be kept only to kill and torture." Hisashi sighed.

"Sensei! That shouldn't be true. Didn't we train that brat? He should feel lucky we even did." Shigaraki scowled, envious of how he didn't sense a hint of anger in his sensei, but rather it was both cockiness and confidence. All for One expected alot for Izuku, in more ways other than his quirk.

However, Shigaraki was slightly wrong, All for One did feel enraged, displeased that his own son would leave the safe place he gave him.

"But no matter." All for One started smirking.

"I'll be getting him back for sure."

Izuku sneezed while holding the scarred male's hand. They were on their way to Aizawa's flat. He was anxious but Kaki made him feel safe, including his brother by heart, Dabi.

"We're here." Aizawa yawned fumbling with his handful of keys before Izuku could hear a door clicking open. Dabi hesitantly guided him in the foreign apartment.

"I have a few pet cats roaming around, be sure not to make him step on one." Aizawa informed just as Izuku was about to trip on a cat, luckily he caught himself before suceeding in doing so.

"Problem child can take a seat, i'll show you around so it wont be much of a hassle." Aizawa scratched his head while yawning, the scarred teen making Izuku sit in a chair.

Aizawa toured Dabi around the medium- sized flat.

Dabi whistled, "I didn't expect an underground hero to have such a nice place. Guess me and Izu scored." The former villain chuckled.

"Sure ya did, now I have to take care of a problem child who can't see and a snarky teen in his rebellous phase." The underground hero groaned, showing him the room the two will be sleeping at.

"I have a bed and a futon, you guys can decide who sleeps on what." Eraserhead stretched, "Go make yourselves at home, don't break anything or touch my stuff without permission." He left without any further retorts from the purple-scarred teen.

Dabi went back to the living room to see Izuku looking forward while silently petting a cat.

"..Dabi? Are you finished with the tour?" Izuku asked, hoping Kaki wasn't messing around again.

"Yup, lets go to our room, you'll be sleeping on the bed and I'll just sleep on a futon." Dabi informed whilst Izuku stood up.

"Huh..? Is that alright with you? Thank you.." Izuku mumbled while Dabi guided him to their room.

How nice, the two hoped that this pro-hero would change their cruel fate.
