Annabeth's POV

I glanced at the digital clock kept on the table next to me which read 00:23 in red block letters. 'I should really stop' I thought as I continued to watch The Big Bang Theory on my laptop.

It was the last day of college tomorrow before Christmas holidays and my roommate had left a few days early which gave me the entire dorm room to myself. Normal people would mostly like to call their boyfriend over for the night, but not me. I simply saw this as an opportunity to rewatch old shows that I've already seen a million times without using annoying earphones or headphones that make it hard for me to lay down. I pity the people who wear glasses.

Once the episode was over, I decided to finally get some rest. Moving the clock back to make space- which now read 00:46- I carefully placed my laptop on the mahogany bedside table. I checked my phone, then put it on charge and went to sleep.

Next morning I got dressed for my nine o'clock class in a hurry and rushed out my room. I found Percy in the porch of the building scrolling through his phone. He looked up at me and smiled.

"Hey. You're late." He said handing me a brown paper bag which I knew contained a chocolate croissant from pret a manger. It was a tradition we had both religiously followed since the start of college. We had decided to keep eating out to a minimum but just after a week we were pretty annoyed by having to cook each morning. So we decided to give ourselves a break and have breakfast out every Friday. Since then, we both have been getting each other breakfast taking turns each week. I was lucky today it was Percy's turn or we both would've been in class on an empty stomach.

"Yeah, I was on my computer." I said, taking the delicious croissant out from the bag and taking a bite.
"Oh. Architecture stuff?" He asked as we started to walk the five minute walk to our psychology class at a faster pace than usual. Psychology was one thing that intrigued both of us which was why we had it as a minor along with environmental science.

"No, I was watching a TV show." I said, trying to eat, talk, and walk together.
"Let me guess. You were watching "The Office"." He said, putting the office in hand quotations.
"Well, no. I was watching The Big Bang Theory."
"There's a new show now!? Now I'm going to have to listen to you talk about The Big Bang Theory and The Office." He exclaimed.

My blood ran cold as a thought came to me. I stopped dead in my tracks and looked at Percy.
"Annabeth. You okay?" He said, concerned.
"No." I said. "Have you... Never watched The Office?"
"Um... No. Why?"
"You've never even tried it?"
"No. What is the problem here?"
"What is the problem? Perseus Jackson, you are my boyfriend and you've Never. Watched. The. Office. That is the problem. Also, we're really late to class." I took another bite of my food.

We both started jogging/running to class when he said "I don't know why it is a big deal but if it means that much to you, we can watch it tomorrow when we get home." I didn't say anything but payed attention to my food. Once we reached outside our class and I had finished my croissant, I slung my arms across his neck, hugging him tight.
"Yes yes yes yes. Yayy, you're the best." I said, pressing my lips to his and jumping up and down like a kangaroo high on sugar.
