18 years later

Under the summer sky he feels the warmth of the sun rays as he walks along the pathway, up towards the big ruby red door. The peaceful sounds of chirping ending when he pushed the door open, heading the echos of conversation around the house. "Guys, I'm home." He yelled, sliding his feet out from this sneakers and hanging up a bag.

His beautiful wife appeared from the kitchen smiling with her pearly whites as she had her arms tightly around a small blonde girl. "Emily has been waiting for you to come home, Juggie." Betty laughed, holding the small girl out so Jughead could greet her. "Daddy!" The small child giggled when Jughead wrapped his arms around her, taking her from Betty's hand.

The small girl was their third child, she was only four years old. Her full name was Emily Jellybean Jones, Betty had suggested the middle name after giving birth and Jughead was in tears after hearing she'd name her child after his deceased sister. Emily's long blonde locks were tied up in cute bunches and she wore a strawberry sundress with small jelly sandals.

"How was your day, Princess?" Jughead asked the little girl and kissed her cheek. He walked into the living room with Emily in his arms and sat down onto the new couch that they had only brought a week ago. Betty sat down next to him and wrapped her arm around his. "I painted Katy a picture for her birthday." Emily smiled and dangled her legs of the edge of the sofa. She pushed herself and trotted of to play with her toy cars that were lined up on the floor.

"What about you? How was your day, Princess?" Jughead smirked looking over at his wife, who was attached to his side. "Good. Katy's upstairs getting ready for everyone to show up." She smiled. Jughead cocked his neck forward and connected their lips. Feeling her warm pink lips against his made his heart skip a beat. "I missed you." He hummed, wrapping his arms around her waist. They both pulled away and she rested her head against his chest as he laid down on the sofa. "Jug, you literally just went to work." Betty laughed and Jughead began to trace circles on her bare shoulder. "But the bar still isn't the same without you there, I miss us there." Jughead said. Betty was about to speak when she heard arguing from their two older children, who were now running down the stairs.

"I get one first, it's my birthday." Katy ,the now sixteen year old girl, yelled and threw her arms in the air. She flipped her black hair over her shoulder before storming off towards Jughead and Betty. "What's going on?" Jughead asked and Betty sat up so Jughead could stand to his feet. Betty sighed and rubbed her knuckles against her eyes, laying back down, alone this time. "Tell your son that I get a serpent jacket first since I'm the oldest." Katy said and crossed her arms across her chest. She rolled her eyes and looked back at her brother, who was a spitting image of Jughead. "She's right." Jughead shrugged as he looked over at the fourteen year old boy. "Crap." The boy cursed, huffing in annoyance. Jughead tightened his jaw and glared down at his son. "Forsythe Pendleton Jones the fourth! Don't you dare swear." Betty yelled, now pushing herself up from her position. "Especially not around Emily!" Jughead added and picked up his younger daughter. Young Forsythe rolled his eyes and stomped up the stairs to his room already knowing Betty would send him there.

Jugheads face softened into a smile as he walked over to Katy and wrapped his free arm around her shoulder, scruffing her hair with his hand. "Happy birthday by the way, Bud." He said, smirking at the girl who looked at him with eager eyes. Jughead chuckled and placed Emily onto the couch before walking over to his work bag and pulling out a newly made serpent jacket. "Happy sixteenth." Jughead smiled handing the leather jacket over to Katy. She instantly pushed her arms through and wrapped it over her white dress. "Thank you. I love you guys so much." She grinned and wrapped her arms around Jughead.

A knock at the door distracted Jughead from the princess castle he was making with Emily. He stood to his feet and Betty ran to his side gripping onto his hand as they opened the door with smiles. "Toni. Cheryl. Ava." Jughead said, giving each one of the girls a nod. Ava was the couples adopted daughter, she was Katy's best friend. "Where's my beautiful nieces and nephew." Cheryl smiled pushing past Jughead and Betty and walking into the living room. Jughead, Toni and Betty laughed as Cheryl picked up Emily, kissing the girls forehead, leaving red lipstick on the small girls skin. Ava smiled at Betty and Jughead before walking in with Toni behind her. They all sat on the couch, waiting for the other two. "Forsythe. Katy. Come down please, we have guests." Betty yelled. The group of people listened to the patting of feet as two teenagers ran down and wrapped their aunties in hugs. "For the birthday girl."
