(Y/n)'s POV
You walked through the ornate door in the living room. The key to it was hidden in a fake plant. This led to your room.
The interior resembled that of the one you had in your original home, but it was much more comfortable. Danny had made sure of that. When you opened the door, you saw Gray standing there at the window.
You quickly reached in your bag for a weapon.
Gray: "Do stay calm. You behave as though I'm going to bite you, silly child."
You sighed.
(Y/n): "What is it you want, now?"
Gray: "All I wish is to ask you a question. In light of your recent revelations, do you still wish for Isaac Foster to take your life?"
You huffed.
(Y/n): "...No. I don't want to die anymore. But, if Zack would be happier after he killed me, then it's okay..."
Gray: "Are those your true feelings?"
(Y/n): "Yes. How I feel really doesn't matter, It's about what he wants ."
Gray: "I see, and now that he has revealed he cares for you, how do you feel?"
(Y/n): "I'm very happy, though.. I'm a little worried that something will go wrong. Maybe a misunderstanding on my end... I suppose it feels too good to be true."
You were talking more toward yourself than to him.
Gray: "It might not be my place to say this, but I can assure you there is no misunderstanding. I spoke with young Isaac whilst he was wandering about your floor. He may not have been upfront, but it would seem obvious to anyone that you currently hold a place in his heart. It is an interesting and unlikely occurrence, to be sure. However, that is nonetheless the present situation."
(Y/n): "...Thanks..."
Gray: "But of course. I believe I was indebted to you after my blind ignorance. I see your true intentions now. You do not have to forgive me."
(Y/n): "..Good...'cause I won't."
You pouted, conflicted with your anger and happiness caused by Gray.
Gray: "Understood. That is all, then. I have no intention of interfering further."
You hummed skeptically and made your way over to the left wall. You pulled down one of your many framed specimens. Behind it, within the wall, was a power switch to the elevator on this floor. It had been switched off. You switched it on with the sneaking suspicion that Gray had turned it off just so that he could talk to you once more. The man simply had to have his answers.
You put the frame back in place, lingering for a moment. This would be the last time you touched that, or saw it. This particular item wasn't sentimental to you in comparison to some others, but you did like it. It was yours. It was going to rot in here. Well, who knows what would happen to it, but you knew you were almost out of here. You would be rotting, at least. This was one of the last things you were going to see. You forced yourself to redirect your focus.
(Y/n): "Hey, Reverend. Where's the exit to this place?"
You spoke softly, as you turned your head towards him. The knowledge of your empty future hung over your form like a storm cloud.
Gray: "Do you expect me to answer?"
You turned your body to face him also, placing your hands on your hips.
