"Oi, Akihiko!" A black haired boy felt the back of his head ring after his younger sister karate-chopped him. His eyes immediately opened and clearly upset, he called out to her, "Damnit, Akane!"

He heard cackling coming from his closet and before he could open the door, she popped out, scurrying out of his room before he could catch her. Determined not to give in that easily to her mischievous ways, he raced down the stairs, jumping five steps, landing on top of her.

They both muttered their aches of pain and looked up to see one of their dads looming over them.

"W-We're sorry!" Akane apologized, jumping up to her feet. Their father narrowed his eyes at her, shaking his head.

"Dumbasses." He huffed, going back into the kitchen. The siblings noticed he was cooking some pancakes, so it was Akihiko's turn to jump to his feet.

"Oi, Shouyou!" Their father in the kitchen called out to their other dad, their other dad sprinting into the kitchen, nearly knocking him over.

"Watch it—" he was interrupted by their ecstatic father.

"What happened to you two?!" He exclaimed, worried for his children. They both nervously chuckled, looking at each other, then proceeding to look back at their ginger haired father.

"Tobio, did you leave them unattended.. again?" He sighed, not too surprised, but Kageyama shook his head.

"Dumbass, they raced each other downstairs, with Akane clearly provoking Akihiko as usual. It's nothing new." He replied, turning off the burner on the stove, signaling that the pancakes were ready.

Quickly changing the topic, the siblings yelled in sync, "Pancakes!" They were perfect; full and fluffy, cooked at the correct temperature, and taken off the stove at the right time.

They munched down on their breakfast, Kageyama checking the time on the analog clock displayed above the entryway of the kitchen. "Oh!"

The kids looked up from their plates, looking at the clock as well. "Oh!" They said also, realizing what time it was.

"Get dressed, hurry it up!" Kageyama demanded to his children, frightening them more than they already were from earlier. In response, Hinata put a hand on his shoulder and said in his typical cheerful mood, "Don't worry, your father is always a grump. Just as long as you get to school on time!"

Reassured, they hurried up their breakfast, but didn't chomp it down too fast, and got dressed. Once the siblings went upstairs, the former Karasuno setter shouted at Hinata, "Boke, Hinata, boke!"

The former spiker of Karasuno jumped up and pecked him on the lips and said, "No matter how much you call me a dumbass, I still love you. You just have to lay off the kids a bit, okay? I was just concerned for them, that's all."

"Sorry.." Kageyama mumbled, but Hinata pressed his head against his shoulder.

"It's fine, Yamayama. They're growing up, we have to let them sort things out for themselves." He nodded to Akane racing down the stairs like earlier, her ginger hair being a frilly mess.

"Love you two!" She called out to her parents, blowing them a kiss, and running out the door. Hinata smiled at her minimalistic gesture of affection, as it was still affection, but Kageyama got flat out flustered.

Hinata turned to face him in curiosity, but once Kageyama saw the ginger look at him, he quickly hid his face in his hands. The shorter boy took one of his hands and held it, squeezing tightly to show his small display of affection.

Kageyama couldn't look away forever so he mumbled, "Dumbass," kissing him on the lips until their son came downstairs. They pulled away, in which Hinata yelled a brisk, but loving goodbye to him.

Akihiko couldn't resist leaving his parents without any intimacy, so he gave them a loving hug, in which they both gladly accepted it. After their son pulled away from the hug, they both walked him out the door, waving goodbye to him as he left for school.

"I love our kids." Kageyama smiled weirdly, but Hinata knew it was because he genuinely meant it.

"I love them too, my Tobio."
