After Gibbs back from D.C. he learn that agent Brickson's body got 2 shot. And he find 2 shell casings from the sniper nest. But what Abby and Ducky found those 2 wounds got a different bullet. The shot on the knee is from a revolver. So there must be the second bullet from the sniper somewhere.
                          
Meanwhile Tony and the others are discussing about the case when Gibbs enter the room. "For now, our prime suspect boss." Tony show Gibbs the plasma along with Maxine with a case file. "Special agent Allison Grant, she was FBI profiler, briefly before joining us. Also experienced in undercover operation, last operation was last year when she infiltrate a local cult with extremely violence reputation. Guns, murder, you name it. And she was a trained strategy planner." 
                          
Craig gives Tony the clicker and let him explain more. "The operation including agent Brickson, play as her lover. His wife suspects him of having an affair with his partner. Burner phone from the scene belongs to agent Grant. Abby confirmed it. It's no coincidence boss."
"Anything else?"
"Agent Craig also suspect them being a couple since last year. Didn't think it's a big deal until now."
"Doesn't prove she's a killer. And if she's a trained, she isn't gonna left her phone at the scene and call 911. I need more. And where is McGee??" Gibbs looks around and there is McGee comes out from elevator with a pale face. "Boss, I think I need to talk to you. Privately. I got something." Tony seems confused but curious. "Mind to tell me?"
"You too Tony."
                          
The three of them walk to the bathroom and lock it. "What do you got McGee?"
"We can't trust anyone on this building. I believe there's a mole. And agent Grant is a scapegoat."
"What? You're sure about that McGoogle?"
"I got into evidence log history. There are some suspicious activity days before the robbery, scrubbed. I couldn't get the ID, but it was there."
"And what Tim?"
"So I went to the evidence garage to speak with the agent in charge there, Collin William. He said a day after the robbery he noticed the activity in the log. Things aren't in their place, and many more. So he tried to look into the CCTV, it's always off whenever this person logged in. So he was panic, afraid about what to do and asked agent Grant's help to solve the problem. She takes days off to do a private investigation."
"Anyone knows about her investigation?"
"No, only agent William and Grant. But he says it seems like Grant reach out to Brickson for help."
"And since Brickson is already on assignment about the robbery case, she decided to tag along."
                          
"But who got the motive to kill either Brickson or Grant?" McGee then pulls another file, with agent Craig picture on it. "What is it McGee?"
"Motive boss. Agent Craig wasn't originally considered to be the team leader, Grant did. But she declined and the position went to Craig boss."
"So? What's the problem?"
"Last week, because of the robbery, agent Craig is being audited. She had a history of misplaced evidence a couple of times. Internal affairs got an impression that she's in it." Tony sigh, "Let me guess, Grant is about to be called in the process?"
"That is right Tony. They already sent her the letter. Her words would be a coffin nail for Craig." With all of these overwhelming theories, but Gibbs still unsatisfied. He looked frustrated. "Still no proof about the killing."
"Umm.... unless we find agent Grant boss."
"Exactly! Find her! Go back to the crime scene. Find something!"
                          
*Empty house*
                          
It's been 2 days since she got to hide in this spot, waiting for any response from the D.C. office. She knows somehow the D.C. office would getting involved in the manner of the weapon that was used. She also remember agents involved it the original case. That's why yesterday she sent out the bullet that she recovered from her own arm, hoping she could get to them directly without alarming the New York office.
                          
But without food and clean water, she doesn't know how long she can stay in one place, and she can't really going out considering she's partially wounded with no backup and with the whole department believe her as a suspect.
