Lukanette/Adrienette 4

                                    

                                          
(Again like I said it isn't really Lukanette anymore but it used to be so I kept it there so you would know what story it is.)

Adrien paced around his room thinking and Plagg watched him confused beyond belief.
                          
"Why are you walking around the room instead of feeding me camembert?" Plagg said.

                          
Adrien looked over at him annoyed because he stopped his train of thought. He sighed and responded, "I'm trying to find a way to confess to Marinette." 
                          
Plagg spit out the camembert in his mouth and gasped. "Marinette?!" He yelled.
                          
"Plagg! Don't scream, someone might hear you!" Adrien walked over to Plagg.
                          
"Sorry, but Marinette? I thought you still loved Ladybug? Isn't that why you broke up with Kagami last month?" Plagg said. Adrien let out a 'oh' of realization.
                          
He hadn't told Plagg about his sudden realization about Marinette a month ago. "Well... I love Marinette. And all this time I thought she was just a friend..." 
                          
"Oh. Well I think we should visit her bakery! Confess to her there." Plagg said and Adrien smiled.
                          
"Are you sure I should do that now? Or do you just want some sweets?" Adrien raised an eyebrow and Plagg flew up to him.
                          
"Adrien, let's just go." Plagg said and Adrien nodded.

Adrien hopped out of his car and walked up to the bakery. He was a little nervous to go inside. He peeked through the window to see Luka and Marinette laughing together, with barely any space between them.
                          
His heart dropped and he looked to the ground. Right. How could he be so dumb? Marinette and Luka. They probably still liked each other even after their break up a month ago.
                          
Of course Marinette wouldn't accept his feelings. She would always call him a friend. So why would he even try? He sighed turned back around to walk off but his car wasn't there.
                          
Natalie and Gorilla had already drown off so he was stuck here for another 30 minutes. He walked inside and coughed to catch their attention.
                          
Marinette and Luka went silent and looked over to him. Marinette smiled and walked up to him. "Hi." He said looking down at her shyly, hand placed on his neck.
                          
"Hi." She smiled at him before continuing, "So... did you come to buy something? I'll get right with you-" 
                          
"Marinette, I love you." Adrien blurted. She looked at him shocked and Adrien glanced at Luka. Luka looked shocked too but ultimately began to smile.
                          
"I've loved you since the day you gave me that lucky charm. And- and... I tried to think of you as just a friend but I-" He stopped talking when Marinette smashed her lips onto his.
                          
He was surprised but he slowly wrapped his hands around her waist and deepened the kiss. He felt his worries wipe away as she caressed his golden hair. They pulled away and looked at each other breathless.
                          
"I love you too." Marinette said and smiled. "I've loved you since you gave me your umbrella that one day? You remember that?" He smiled too and a small tear fell from his eyes as he nodded.
                          
He wiped the tear and let out a chuckle. He pulled her into a tight embrace. Luka was in the background taking a bunch of pictures.
                          
He had already gotten over Marinette and to see her be happy with the guy she loved since day one made him really happy.
                          
He sent some of the pictures to Alya and laughed to himself. He could already imagine the look on Alya's face. 
                          
"Marinette." Adrien said still wrapping tight around Marinette. "Mhm?" She said.
                          
"Will you be my g-girlfriend?" He stammered, a light blush spreading across his face. She smiled even bigger than she thought she could as she whispered a soft yes.
                          
Then all of a sudden Adrien started to cry into Marinette's arms dramatically, catching Luka off guard.
                          
"What the-" He exclaimed, taking another picture of them.
                          
(Luka really said *shocked pikachu face* 💀)
                          
"I love you so much. I love you." Adrien sobbed and Marinette patted his back. 
                          
"I know, I know. I love you too." Marinette cooed while snickering a bit at the soft boy in her arms.
                          
"Well, Marinette. I'll see you later." He waved to Marinette and looked at Adrien with a raised eyebrow. This boy really was in such denial he started to cry? Luka thought.
                          
(I just let out the biggest cackle writing that LMAO.)
                          
"Let it out. Let it out." Marinette patted more on his back.
                          
"And- and.. I remember in the ball pit when we were with Kagami- you looked so pretty with your hair down- and I couldn't stop staring at you- I didn't know why. I was such a dense idiot!" 
                          
Marinette felt her heart flutter at those words. So maybe after all this time Adrien actually liked her as much as she liked him?
                          
"And I remember you fell asleep on my shoulder on the train and I felt so h-happy. And when people thought of you as my girlfriend, I don't know, I liked the idea?" Adrien blurted more words out making Marinette's face turn tomato red.
                          
"Alright, Adrien that's-"
                          
"And when you kissed my cheek at your party on Hero's Day I felt dissapointed because you didn't kiss me on the lips. And when I heard you didn't like me while we were at the museum-"
                          
Aw fuck it.
                          
She rolled her eyes and pulled him into another kiss to shut up his ongoing confessions of love. Otherwise, she would probably have a heart attack.
                          
She put her fingers through his hair and the sound of his heartbeat made her feel content.
                          
They let go of the kiss and stared into each other's eyes for what seemed like an eternity. "So I guess I wasn't just a friend all along?" She winked playfully and he grabbed her hands.
                          
"Not even close." He smiled down at her.

So that's a wrap on this Lukanette/Adrienette love story! I think this has to be my favorite storyline I've done so far!! 
                          
I hope you all enjoyed it! And I swear if Adrien doesn't mention the lucky charm Marinette gave him once in his confession of love I will start a riot. Jk :)
