Ryan

The next morning Sienna woke up around the same time I had as she was adamant about looking her best to meet my parents. I told her that she was going to be okay if she had just placed a potato sack around her. My parents would love her for how she was. She was down to earth and wasn't in this relationship for the Ryan that raced cars, she liked the big ass goofball that I had become around her

"Sienna, they'll love you. Trust me. Emma has not stopped messaging me since last night asking to meet you. Even said it was unfair that Erin got to meet you first." With those words, she seemed to loosen up.

"You sure?" She asked, seeing her face falter a bit. I set my stuff down on the tiny kitchenette counter before sitting beside her. "I am. Sienna, my parents aren't hard to get along with. Emma will like you because of you and she finally has someone to talk mom things with. All of them were quite excited to hear that you had a child. The only grandchild that they have now is Louie but Eleanor will fit right in and they would never treat her or you any different. Now take your time getting ready, you're already liked." She smiled at me before inning me a hug. "You're right. I'll calm down a bit."

And she did. She had stopped what she was doing and decided to give Sophia a call. I smiled and let her do her thing as I got ready for the day. We had a team briefing and then before the race I was going to introduce Sienna to my family. I know that it's quick since I just asked her to be my girlfriend but since they're all going to be around, it was the only way.

Leaving her to talk on her phone, I went ahead and got dressed into some jeans and a Penske polo before grabbing a hat and my shoes. My fire suit, gloves, and shoes were sat on the dresser for me to change into later. Sienna had set them out for me after coming back to the motor home last night.

When I walked back through, I sat down beside Sienna on the couch and put my shoes on. She had placed her makeup bag on the table but made no moves to open it. (And for that I'm glad) she didn't have her phone in her hand so I was guessing that the call hadn't lasted long.

"I'll be back here in just a little bit to change into my stuff then we're meeting up with my family," I told her, placing a kiss on her cheek before standing and putting my phone in my back pocket.

"Okay, I'm probably going to shower real quick and then get ready since El didn't want to talk much."

Sienna

"Don't worry," Ryan said as we stood next to his car, waiting on his family to join us. We had come a little bit early since he knew that it would be crazy. Thankfully I had decided to switch to a pair of shorts instead of the pants I had originally put on because it was hot on pit road.

"I can't help it. I want them to like me." I said with a smile, knowing that people and/or cameras were always watching. Ryan squeezed my hand gently. His eyes watching something behind me. I knew who was approaching and decided that I had to calm down or I would fuck something up.

"Oh, Ryan. It's so good to see you again." A light voice said as I turned to face the reason for my nerves.

What I wasn't expecting was to already know the two women who stood beside us. Suddenly the nerves had gone away, knowing that I had spoken with almost everyone here except for the men.
