~Guardian Angel POV~

I let out a lazy yawn and find Dia has moved closer to me and has her head buried in my chest and also has an arm draped over me. I lay there cherishing this moment. It was amazing and exactly how I imagined my heart would flutter and the feeling of butterflies in my stomach.

I watch her and am still in awe of how beautiful she is. The blindfold is still on thankfully and I don't see any fresh blood anywhere, so that's a good thing.

I continue to enjoy the moment but eventually I pull myself out of bed, she mumbles something under a her breath and it seems as if she is slowly coming around. I still needed to prepare a few things just in case she doesnt like the fact that I was her secret admirer for years.

I have to put precautions in place, even though my heart doesn't want to. I know I have to put her in the room while I continue the final preparations. I sigh and pick her up with the comforter, I carry her to the room I atleast got finished a week ago.

I push open the door and put her gently down on the bed, the windows have bars, almost like a jail, on them. I place the shackle around her ankle and click the lock on, the chain is tied around one of the bedposts. Which I had made sure was secure, I take another look at her and smile because she is finally mine.

I leave the room and make sure all the bolts and locks are locked on the door. I grab my jacket and head out, making sure to lock the doors and windows just in case.

I get in my car and drive to town. Just to get a few things and to keep up the pretense of not knowing anything.

About half an hour later I finally arrive at the hardware store, I get out and enter while getting my list out of the materials I need. Let's see: wood, nails, steel rods, extra locks and finally some gas for the stove and lamps. As I head to the counter to pay I hear the Detective... 'What's his name again? The one that is in charge of Dia's case, ah yes Detective Jordan.' He's speaking to the hardware clerk.

"Its a dang shame that this happened... he should of never gotten out." The Detective tells the clerk.

"Yeah she was a nice gal, do you have any leads on what happened?" My heart beats faster and my focus is only on the conversation, I need to know what all he knows.

"Come on Martin, you know I can't talk about an ongoing investigation..." the clerk's face falls "but between me and you, and definitely off the record, we have found out she had a stalker..."

The clerk gasps and I inhale sharply. The detective carries on. "But we really have no clue who it is, no fingerprints, no DNA, nothing. All we know is that he for sure has her now and most likely killed the father... but if I'm honest... I'm glad that her father is dead and can't hurt anyone anymore... but there are a few people that noticed a car stopped on the side of the road where the car went off, so that's basically our only lead."

I think my face goes a shade lighter at that last sentence. Eventually I get helped and pay by cash.

I pop my trunk and place the bags in there but then I realise... the bloody crowbar is still there... my blood runs cold and I quickly snap the trunk shut.

"Hey there..." I jump and turn around to see Detective Jordan behind me. I place a hand on my heart as I thought it would jump out of my chest. "Oh sorry, I didn't mean to scare you kid."

"Nah it's fine, I guess I was just preoccupied and didn't hear you." I try to shrug off the fact that I have the murder weapon and it's right under this guy's nose.

"Listen I know you were friends with Ms Cian, and I thought I'd ask you a few questions, is that alright?" I gulp and nod my head.

"Were you aware that she had a stalker?" My heart races and my brain tries to think of something 'don't incriminate yourself but don't sound like you don't know much either...'
