Chapter 47

                                    

                                          
"Please just let me." Lisa knelt down Jennie and hugged her legs.
                          
"Let me hold him just for now. Please Jennie...." Lisa cries on her knees, Jennie looks down to her and she couldn't bare the scene that's why she pulled her gaze away from Lisa.
                          
"Please...... Nini...... I want to hold our son." Lisa tried grabbing Jennie's hand , but the girl wouldn't let it happen. She held Leo tightly and was about to turn away.
                          
"Let me hold him." Lisa once again pleaded. This time Jennie looks down at her with a word.
                          
"You told me that you don't want to do anything with him before. I don't care how many times you'll say to me that you didn't mean to say it. You already caused damage to me. You damaged me. So I am not gonna let you hold him." Jennie said, She tried removing Lisa from her leg. But the latter was hugging her to dear life.
                          
"Let me fix it. Please Jennie.... Nini.." Lisa said, Jennie successfully removed her and pushed her slightly.
                          
"Don't call me that name. I am no longer gonna give in to you because of that stupid endearment." Jennie said and walked away. She quickly went to get her bag and bid her goodbye to Rosé and her other friends.
                          
Lisa followed her and run after her.
                          
"Jennie....."
                          
Jennie stopped from walking and Lisa saw it. She quickly walk towards the girl and saw why she stopped.
                          
"Baby......" Jennie said cause Leo was sucking for air so hard.
                          
He was already turning purple cause he can't breath properly because of too much crying.
                          
"Leo......" Lisa said, she quickly pulled Jennie to her car and forced her to ride.
                          
"I know you don't want me but he needs to be rushed in the hospital." Lisa said. She quickly stepped on the accelerator and drove as fast as she can. Tears was rolling her eyes because she is scared at what is happening to their son.
                          
"Please breath. Leo breath......" Jennie cried.
                          
"Re-remove his c-clothes." Lisa suggested. Jennie unbutton each button on his clothes and removed it.
                          
They reach the nearest hospital and they quickly run into the emergency room.
                          
"Please help me. My baby...." They approached a nurse and they quickly assessed the two.
                          
They took Leo and told them to stand on the side and let doctors do their job. They asked the two of small information about the baby and Jennie gave them his age and what happened.
                          
Both of them watch what does the doctor do to their son. Jennie felt weak and she fell on her knees.
                          
"He was fine awhile ago. He was fine......" She started crying, Lisa pulled her up and hugged her.
                          
"He was fine....." Jennie repeated, she started hitting Lisa on the chest and just cried out her emotions. Lisa let her hit her cause she thinks this is the way Jennie can vent out what she feels.
                          
"If you just leave us this wouldn't happen. You are so selfish Lisa. All I do is to love you but you are always hurting me." Lisa held her back and caressed it.
                          
"That is why I am sorry. Im sorry that I choose to hurt you. I thought loosing Tzuyu was the worse. But I was wrong, loosing you and Leo is like loosing my own sanity, my world, everything around me. Im so sorry Jennie..... Im sorry." Lisa told her, she planted a soft kiss on top of the girl's head and rubbed her back repeatedly.
                          
Jennie just sobbed and gripped on Lisa's shirt, her sweatshirt is already soaking wet because of the girl's excessive crying.
                          
Later on the doctor approach them.
                          
"Are you the parents?" He asked, Jennie quickly pulled away from Lisa to hear his news.
                          
"How's my baby? Is he fine?" Jennie asked.
                          
"He had an asthma attack." He said. Jennie furrowed her eyebrows cause she wasn't informed that he has asthma.
                          
"How? He- 
                          
She didn't finish her sentence when she thought that this, her not knowing is her being an irresponsible mother.
                          
"Some cases doesn't really show early especially at this age. What I suggest is to let him rest and stay here for awhile." the doctor said, Jennie nodded and bowed to him. She thanked him and went to her baby.
                          
He has nebulizer on his face and he was sleeping peacefully. She carried him and sat on the bed. Jennie wiped her remaining tears and kissed the top of his head.
                          
"You scared mommy....." She said, her voice was starting to crack once again. She wiped his sweat forming on his forehead and held his hand.
                          
"Im sorry mommy didn't know." She said in her small voice.
                          
Lisa watch them from afar since she didn't want to cause any troubles with them anymore. She just silently thank heavens that it is not something severe.
                          
She went out to get Leo's clothes in the car. Then she got back to give it to Jennie.
                          
"Here...." She handed the clothes. Jennie looks up to her and took it.
                          
"I'll just stay here incase he got better and so I can send you home." Lisa said, Jennie didn't answer and just put on Leo's clothes.
                          
Lisa dragged the stool nearby and sat on it. She stare at Jennie as the girl  tried to place Leo on her arms in comfortable position without the tubes getting moved.
                          
Jennie leaned on the bed rest and waited for the medicine to be gone.
                          
When the nebulizer cup was empty, Jennie removed the mask on his face and wiped the small vapors formed in his cheeks.

As Jennie was softly sleeping. Lisa held Leo's hand and caress it with the pads of her thumb.
                          
"Don't ever be sick. Mommy will be sad if Leo is sick." She kissed his small hands. He then gripped on Lisa's pinky and opened his eyes.
                          
Seeing that his dada is still with him makes him happy, he raised his head and smiled widely at Lisa. He cooed at her and opened closed his hands telling Lisa he wants her. Her hearts swell with love, but as much as she wants to pick him up she is scared that Jennie might get mad.
                          
"I can't baby, mommy will not allow me." She said, Leo pouted and rested his head back on Jennie's chest.
                          
Jennie then felt that he already woke up so she opened her eyes to check on him.
                          
"My baby......" She shifted her position and placed a kissed on his cheeks. He yawned and smiled again.
                          
"You okay now huh. Nothing hurts." She said, Jennie then looks at Lisa.
                          
"You can go home now. Im just gonna ride a cab." Jennie said, Lisa was about to protest when she remembered how much Jennie would be mad if ever she denies her simple request. Lisa nodded and stood up. She was about to leave when Leo is starting to cry, he doesn't want Lisa to go.
                          
"Shhhhhh it's fine dada is just going home." Jennie whispered to him. But he doesn't like the idea. He squirmed on her hold and screamed at the top of his lungs.
                          
"Lisa....." Jennie calls. Lisa turned around and looks at them.
