I felt the tears fall like rain. After writing and rereading I set the letter down and put the notebook no top of the corner. I walked up to the edge of the building and looked down.
21 stories high.
That's a long way down. Quite the fall. I walked up an inch from the edge and closed my eyes putting my arms out."Andy I love you." I whispered.
I went to take my last step off of the rooftop. Tears falling fiercely, all of the words and horrifying events that have ever happened coming through my head all at once.
One...
Two...
Three...
"Don't!" I heard a Andy's voice from behind me, he pulled be back and I landed on the ground of the rooftop wrapped in his arms. This must be a dream. How'd he know I was up here? I sobbed into the imaginary figures chest.
"Why Hannah?! Why would you do this?! Hannah, look at me. Please." I opened my eyes seeing him right in front of me. It was him. It really was him. I clutched his shirt in my hands and cried. "I'm not good enough." I said. "I'm not good enough." I repeated. "Hannah! Hannah look at me." He said moving my head to face his. I looked into his eyes.
"Hannah Baker... You are the best thing in my life. I have no idea where I'd be without you. Don't you ever say goodbye to me. Because I don't want to move on. I want you. I cannot explain enough how much I want to be with you. If you go I go. If you jump I jump. That's just how it works. I want you. Only you. And that's it. I could lose everything, but as long as I knew you where still by my side, I would always go on. I love you Hannah, no. that's not strong enough to say. I'm in love with you. Insanely, madly and utterly in love with you. Hopelessly devoted to you. The first moment I saw you, you stole my heart. And I don't want it back... because I'm planning on being with you. Forever."
I felt tears fall from my eyes and I pressed my lips to his. "I love you." He said as he kissed me again. I nodded.
"I love you so much." I said back. I ran my fingers through his hair and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Come on. Lets go back, we're leaving... tonight. We're going to go see everyone."___________
