Terrible reception

                                    

                                          
Everyone broke into chaos about five seconds after the video ended. The royal family chose the time to leave the jade princess Harumi giving her best wishes and leaving with her parents while everyone was shouting over each other. 
                          
"How did this even happen?" 
                          
"Who are these people?" 
                          
"What's their goals?" 
                          
"To kill them!" 
                          
"Karloff say we find them now," 
                          
"But where are they?" 
                          
"I cannot loose my baby boy," 
                          
"We'll find him Maya dear," 
                          
"Oh my this is not pleasant is it Ed?"
                          
"Cole is all I have left we need to rescue him!" 
                          
"ENOUGH!" Wu and Garmadon screamed getting on tables and yelling quieting the room. 
                          
"We did not expect someone to do this, but we are fighters and time is waisting," Garmadon said. "So we have a plan," Wu said. "Nya, Ray Karloff, Jay, and Turner your going to find Kai. Borg you designed the railways right?" Garmadon asks and Borg nodded. "Yes I put cameras in all of them I should be able to find him soon," Borg answers. "What about me? I'm finding my son," Maya said. "Maya we are sending you with Zane, Lloyd, Skylar, Peleman, Shade, and me are going to find Cole. Your skills are better suited for rescuing Cole than your son," Wu answers. "We will find him," Ray promises Maya who nodded looking at how long they had left. "And the rest of us?" Tox master of poison asks. "Your going to find how they were found in the first place parents stay here," Garmadon orders. They all nodded seeing they only had a hour and a half left. 
                          
Borg used in his built in computer and with Pixal's help they found Kai who was on a tram surrounded by explosives with a ticking time bomb in front of him. "Let's move!" Ray said and left with the other elemental masters assigned to find Kai. "But how do we find Cole?" Ed asks. "He's clearly at a indoor swimming pool area so which one?" Shade asks. "It would have to be abandoned or alarms would have been tripped," Zane said. "The Ninjago water swimming training! They have the deepest pools or used to before closing down to relocate," Maya said. "Best place to try let's move," Lloyd said and they left. 
                          
Kai
 
The team to find Kai just arrived at the station where many bikers were keeping watch outside the control room. "Nya you bring the tram cart back. Karloff and Jay you deal with the bikers Turner you and me are going to catch up to the cart because we only have half a hour before my son dies. Everyone know what they are doing?" Ray asks. They all nodded in confirmation. "Good let's save the bride," Ray said and they moved. 
                          
Jay and Karloff moved fast and quietly. They snuck over to Ultra Violet who was talking on the phone with someone. "Yes hello oh quiet one yes he will be dead within half a hour no signs of any elemental masters. Gonna be quite the light show," Ultra Violet laughs. She hung up on whoever she was talking to and then went to doing her nails. Jay saw Nya sneak into the control room where she found two tied up workers. Jay shot lightning at Ultra making her jump and for her hair to stand on end.
                          
Karloff stood up and punches his fists together. "It Metalonia it is not nice to kidnap bride on wedding day," Karloff said before he and Jay started their fights. Meanwhile Turner had jumped onto the line and was running to catch up to the tram pulling Ray along with a piece of rope. They reached the cart and Turner landed on top of it. Ray peered in the window and saw his son tied up inside with the bomb only having fifteen minutes left. Ray also saw something he thought he would never see his son do again. He was crying big hot fat tears as he hopelessly pulled on his chains as sobs shook his body. Ray was gonna roast the bastards responsible for this whole thing. The father pulled the emergency exit from a top the roof open and jumped down landing in front of his son. Kai jumped surprised, but was relieved seeing his father though still crying. Ray bent down and removed the gag taking note how Kai's wrist was bandaged and immediately Kai asked. 
                          
"Where's Cole? What did they do to him? Is he okay?" Kai asks his tears because he was scared for Cole. "Everything is under control son just stay calm me and your sister have this handled," Ray said trying to undo the chains. "I got the bomb," Turner said quickly disabling the bomb in record speed. "No where's Cole?" Kai asks more worried about Cole then himself. "Your mother and Wu are leading the others to rescue Cole okay just stay calm," Ray said in a way only a father could sooth their child. Kai calms down a little, but only so he can find Cole sooner. "I'm sorry this had to happen you didn't deserve this on your special day," Turner said trying to be sympathetic. "I don't know how it could have happened though. We took every precaution there was no way even we could find you," Ray said as he finally picked the locks and the chains fell off. Kai got back up and hugs his father his nails digging into his back. "I need to see Cole," he cries. Ray hugs his son back not noticing the tram had started going backwards. "He'll be fine have faith and pray to the first spinjitzu master," Ray said in a soft warm voice as his son cries in his arms.
                          
Cole
                          
Kilo was pacing back and forth waiting for the timer to run out to so he could push Cole into the pool and he can drown. "You know we wanted to bury you originally but that would have taken up to much time so we had to go with the rock. Not as symbolic, but it'll do," Kilo said as Cole struggles in his chains. "In five more minutes your pretty little slutty bride is going up in flames," Kilo laughs. Cole blinks back tears knowing Kai was injured. "Aww is the strong earth ninja going to cry? Ha your weaker than I thought," Kilo taunts. Cole looks down he didn't care he wanted Kai to be safe. 
                          
Suddenly there was yelling a fighting Kilo saw two of the ninja and in a panic pushed the rock in the deep pool and it sinks down dragging Cole with it. "Cole!" Zane yells. "I'll handle the big guy you rescue Cole before he drowns," Lloyd orders. "I am going to drown this big oaf for ruining my son's special day," Maya growls. Zane runs and jumps into the water having a long time before needing to surface unlike Cole who had a minute at best. Zane reaches the bottom and uses some newly required lasers and started cutting the chains. Cole was thrashing and needed air desperately. He cut the chains and swam to the surface with Cole as the rest of the group had already driven away the biker gang thanks in a large part to Maya. Life saving advice never piss off a over protective mother at a swimming pool who can control water. Cole was taken to the edge and was coughing up large amounts of water between coughs he asks. 
                          
"Where's Kai? What did they do with Kai? He is okay?" Cole asks. "Kai's gonna be okay we need to get you to the noodle house your father is worried," Wu said. "No! Where is Kai? He's hurt I need to know if he's okay," Cole states Kai coming first. Maya calls Ray who picked up on the first ring. 
                          
"Is he?" She starts. "Yes minor wrist injury, but our son is fine we are heading to the reception now," Ray said over the phone and Maya sighed in relief. "Okay Cole is fine," Maya said into the phone. "Cole Kai's fine he's with Ray heading back to the reception now," Maya said and Cole's eyes lit up slightly. "Then let's go," he said. They quickly got back to the reception where Kai already was. They made eye contact and raced into each other's arms not a moment later. They kissed and a few got teary eyed at the sight. 
                          
"So are we gonna continues the reception? Because I have been eyeing this bottle for a while," Ronin said holding up a bottle of champagne. Kai and Cole looked at each other then around them before smiling. "The nights still young I don't see why not. What about you honey?" Cole asks Kai. "We are married and alive I say that should be celebrated," Kai answers and everyone cheers.
