My head shots up, making me cringe as my neck cracks, and I look around with wide eyes. Students are packing their things, which means it was the bell that woke me up and that I fell asleep. I have a really weird sleep pattern. When I'm in bed, even after swallowing my sleeping pills, I can't shut my eyes, but when I'm in a situation in which I need to stay awake, my brain shut down. It's really frustrating. Even more so because school is more stressful than my bedroom. After all, it is where I met him and where 'he'- no.

Don't think about it. You don't want to have a panic attack in public right? It would be so embarrassing; everyone would laugh at you. They will know how much of a freak you are. They will hate you, despise you. They will be disgusted.

A cold breeze extracts me from my dark thoughts. I glance outside the window on my left, I had opened it a bit at the beginning of the class. It makes me feel a little less claustrophobic. I scrunch my eyes at the sun's brightness. I'm too dark for this kind of light. I shouldn't even be able to look at it. I don't deserve to see any light, any hope...

The wind makes the soft little leaves dance on their branch, making them play a relaxing lullaby at the same time. It is luring me back to sleep with welcoming arms, something I haven't felt in ages. The soft clamor of the crowd a few floors down reminds me of the calming sound of a mother's singing voice, always at the perfect level, with little ups and downs at the right time. You don't need to understand the lyrics to understand the warmth behind it, you only need to feel it. Human's warmth is really a strange thing, sometimes it has just the perfect temperature to lure you in and make you relax, while sometimes it is just a burning feeling. Destroying you in ashes and scattering your remainings in the air. Leaving you all alone to pick up the broken pieces of your being.

The wind blows even harder, making strands of my hair go in all directions, not that I care. It just makes me look even more wild. Like an abandoned beast in the dark alleys. Ready to pounce on any threats, before it attacks me first. Who makes the first move wins.

I clench my eyes as dust get in it and I rise my fist to slowly rub my left eye with my sleeve. I really hate when it happens... Can't a depressed omega teen look out of a window and think depressing thoughts without getting dusts in his eyes? Can't a young male ponder on the meaning of life without getting disturbed? Damn, what a shitty world... not that I didn't already know.

"W-what, why are you crying? You are such a weakling!" My dear brother, the oldest and dumber, Mikael says. I guess they were tired of waiting for me and came. I look at them as Mikael glare at me with an annoyed face and Jaydon seems uncomfortable. I wonder why they look so restless...

I don't answer him and get up, bending to take my bag off the floor with my bag facing them. I heard them take a sharp intake of air and Mikael grows a little. I leisurely go back to my full height and watch them with a bored face as they look at me with dark eyes. I guess seeing me turn my back to them, completely defenseless, insult them. Like saying I don't take them seriously, that I'm not intimidated. It must irk the Alphas in them. Poor little douchebags. I nearly shed a tear...

I walk past them, swaying a little my hips to taunt them. Like a dog shaking its tail. Catch me if you can. I can feel their eyes piercing holes in my bottom, making me roll my eyes internally. As expected...

I walk in the hallways and then down the stairs. After a few seconds, I hear the twins walking fast behind me with me. They will never run after me; it would be too much of an embarrassment. Big bad Alphas running after a weak omega freak. No way.

I arrive at the parking and my eyes catch the sight of a flashy red Lamborghini. It was Mikael's present from dad when he got his driver license. I sniff a little and nearly purr at the scent of freshly cut grass and new leather. They are ones of my favorite scents and here I have them both. The grass' one is from my left, where the janitor is currently mowing the lawn and the leather is in the black mustang without top at my right, side by side with Mikael's car. It's Jaydon freshly received car that Alex gave him for his fourteen's birthday.

I hear both unlock their respective car and jump in the black horse. From the corner of my vision, I see Jaydon gives Mikael a smug look, but decide to ignore it and turn up the radio's volume.

Time to go adopt a dog!

Hey dear readers, who here like the scent of freshly cut grass?

What's your favorite scent?

Stay safe!
