I decide that Ive gone too long without talking to Payton so I call him.
"Kaitlyn!" I hear him smile on the phone "Happy Birthday!!" "Thank you!!!" I chuckle
"Wish you were here to celebrate with me" "Me too" I frown
"So why'd you get your phone taken away" My stomach drops and I say the first thing that comes to mind
"I forgot to do my chores" "Well at least you have it back now" "Yeah" I chuckle
"So what'd I miss?" I ask "Well last night Avani burst into our room and was acting weird like if she was hiding something"
"Thats strange" I say "She hasnt told you anything?" "No"
"Well she left with Chase and he came back late last night but he's been acting weird too"
"Maybe they're secretly dating" "Never crossed my mind but maybe" We laugh. We talk on the phone for a bit then my mom gets back.
"Hey kait I-" I put my finger over my lips and she places the food on the counter.
"Ok Payton well I gotta go I'll call you later ok?" "Ok" "Byeee" "Bye" He chuckles.
"Its so hardd" I spread out on the bed "What is"
"Keeping a secret" "I know what you mean" She chuckles
"I got you some food and you should get ready" She points at me. I laugh
"I will after I eat" I eat my food and get ready. I wear this
