Maykel's POV

Frionel asked me How is she? I grunted It's so boring just watching over her but... I keep on seeing that bald man, who has such shiny head that the sunlight would reflect off it, following and watching her, plus all this incident about abducting women in the Clan ...some weird guy is snooping around her bakeshop that he looks like a perverted old man.

He frowned thoughtfully Do you think we should report this to Chief? I suggested How about this - let's continue watching over her and if that pervert dirties his hand, I'll beat him up and we'll bring his bruised and bald head directly to Chief.

And she can tell them that he tried to abduct her.

Ordea's POV

Kaleid and I went to Chief to give our report Kal', did you find anything on your scout? He answered Nothing worth reporting to Chief, how about you? I grunted They're indeed smuggling something, no, it's probably worse than smuggling.

What do you mean? Is something hideous happening inside that Ayers mansion?

I wouldn't say that it's hideous but some sort of shady deals.

We entered Chief's room and saw Sir Eldon and Sir Sabrac already in there, we greeted Good morning. Chief Aeromir asked So, how did it go last night? Kaleid first said I found a basement full of things and money but nothing suspicious. Sir Eldon asked sarcastically Did you grab some money on your way out?

Sir Sabrac only chuckled at his pun then Chief faced me You, Ordea. I cleared my throat The suspicion that Mr. Ayers' is involved in smuggling is washed out. Chief, you know about the kidnappings that is happening now?

He nodded Of course, why?

I swallowed first before saying Mr. Ayers is the one responsible for that. There's a chorus of 'What?' from them. Chief Aeromir leaned forward, resting his chin on his thumbs as he placed his elbows on the table That's a surprising accusation coming out of you, Ordea, what did you find?

When we were scouting there, I came upon a room which is filled with women, and they seem to be locked in there. I asked what is going on then I learned from them that they were abducted and was brought to that place to be sold as slaves or...something reprobated.

They fell silent for a short while before Chief Aeromir asked Are you sure about this, Ordea? We don't want to tackle the wrong man. I replied I'm sure Chief, now that you say it Chief, I have a bad feeling that time is against us - we don't know when he will be selling more women... I clench my hands... and I don't want that to happen.

Kaleid suggested We should go in there and take him straight to jail, if some of his men will draw swords,... he eagerly put a fist on his palm ...they'll regret it. The senior warriors looks at Chief then Sir Sabrac asked What do you say, Aeromir?

Chief closed his eyes for a moment then replied As much as I want to but we need to have a witness to testify against Ayers, if we just barge in there, he'll probably know he's being suspected and will dispose the women. Sir Eldon grunted He'll deny the whole thing and walk away.

I asked Then what do we do, Chief?
