"allie, i can't dance." harry protested as the blonde girl set up her phone and opened the tik tok app.

allie campbell was going to teach harry winks a dance. it was very simple and probably the only dance that allie knew but she was determined to make the footballer dance.

"harry, it's easy. come on. please?" the short girl pleaded and harry found it impossible to say no. how could he when she looked so cute?

when the boy didn't protest, she took that as her chance to start the video. the music of doja cat's 'say so' started to blast out of the phone speakers. the two started to dance and it was messy. so messy that neither one or them were in time with the music or completing the steps in the right order but it didn't stop them from laughing together and having a good time.

"wow, we're so bad." allie laughed as they huddled close to each other to watch the video of themselves on the small phone screen. it was a stupid video on a stupid platform but allie knew stupid as fun which is why she posted it. they had fun. she didn't care that the two of them were out of time or that she wouldn't become famous or viral. all she cared about were the memories that the pair had just made. allie knew that she would find herself watching the video back when she was laying in bed that night. it was inevitable. especially since she fancied the pants off of harry winks.

"speak for yourself." the footballer scoffed at the girl next to him and faked offence. he knew that he couldn't dance, he had warned her but she didn't listen to him.

"okay, sorry jordan banjo." allie laughed and held her hands up in surrender. the two found it so easy to talk to each other. it didn't have to be anything important or anything deep, they just enjoyed the company of each other.

"who's jordan banjo?" harry asked as he slumped himself down on the beige couch. allie watched him, finding him very attractive with his styled hair and his tottenham hotspur tracksuit. it was a sight for sore eyes and the blonde girl felt a blush creeping onto her cheeks.

"he's in diversity? you know, the dance group that won britain's got talent years ago." allie smiled, trying to jog his memory but he still seemed to be confused. his thick eyebrows that allie adored were knitted together as he tried to think back but it was no use. he simply couldn't remember at the moment.

"nah, i can't think. too tired after a long day at training." the brunette boy let out a yawn and allie could only smile softly, understanding since she too was exhausted after her long day at work.

"tell me," she started and harry became intrigued by what she was about to say. it was their longest conversation to date after only really seeing each other around five times, including the day that they had met.

"what's it like playing for your boyhood club?" allie wasn't stupid. she knew that harry was a lifelong fan of the club that he played for. monique had been sure to tell her multiple times but allie could see it in the way that his eyes lit up whenever they were mentioned.

without a second of hesitation, harry started to talk about how he started out at tottenham and his journey to where he was now.

allie could listen to him talk for hours. days even. his accent was interesting to her. it wasn't what she expected from him but then again, she had no idea what she was expecting. allie was genuinely interested in what harry had to say. most people that allie knew would find listening to a guy talk about football to be mundane but the blonde girl didn't. she thought it was cute. it probably also helped that she had an interest in football, both of her parents being massive fans of the sport.

"so, who's your team?" harry asked the girl, intrigued as to who she supported. it was clear to him that she liked football and had some sort of knowledge about it.

"i don't think i have one." the blonde admitted sheepishly. she had never put much thought into it before but now that she had been asked, allie didn't know who she supported.

"my mum is a manchester united fan because that's where she's from and my dad is a derby fan. there was never any pressure for me to pick so i just didn't, i guess." allie shrugged her shoulders and her smile fell as she admitted the truth to the boy who was sitting across from her.

"you could always support spurs." the london boy teased and allie could only laugh, not knowing what else she could do.

"i just appreciate the game but i'll always be a fan of you, haz." the blonde girl used one of harry's nicknames without even realising and the boy could swear that he felt butterflies erupt in his chest at the sound of her voice and her choice of words.

neither of them said anything for a while and they didn't have to either.

every so often, one of them would look up and catch the other one already looking at them. they would both blush and avert their attention elsewhere. they were like two teenagers crushing and in love. they didn't know what to do with their apparent feelings for each other. allie and harry didn't know each other that well but their attraction to each other was instant. they were both the type to fall hard and fast and that's exactly what the blonde girl and the brunette boy were doing. they were falling hard and fast.

a/n: i feel like i say this all the time but these two are so cute 🥺

i know the 'say so' dance is quite an old trend now but in my defence, this was written a while ago and i am not a tik tok dancer so, i should be excused.

since teams were discussed in this chapter and i know that i have asked this before but, who's your team?
