Jason's POV
                          
Why the bloody hell why did Rachel come in how many times do I have to tell her to leave me be, now she threatens my mate even if whatever power Mariah has I'm not risking her. Rachel and her friends are going to be rogues. My poor mate probably hates me, she deserves to I mean look who I slept with, she had to cry herself to sleep. Whilst she slept I crept out of the room I had already mind-linked the entire pack to meet outside.
                          
"Thanks for coming I have recently found my mate." Most people whooped or applauded Rachel and her friends scoffed she was fuming I feel sorry for her family for having her as a daughter. "My mate maybe human, but she's not completely human as we both found out last night thanks to an intruder. "Rachel, Sasha, Felicia you are here by banished from the pack you will now and forever be rogues GET OUT OF MY PACK!" They screamed in pain as the pack bond snapped. That's sorted Mariah no longer need to worry about that thing. "If anyone else treats their new Luna with disrespect or harm her in anyway your punishment will be either banishment or death death I'll let your Luna decide. Thank you that is all the announcements my sincere apologies to the girls' families."
I return to my mate she's not in bed I almost panic thinking she left but realise she's in the shower phew. I know I'm probably either going to be ignored, or screamed at when she comes out of the bathroom.
                          
Mariah's POV
                          
I don't know what to do, does he even love me, was I stupid to come here my life was less complicated before I met him and Atom. I don't know were he went, when he'll be back, I need space right now. I finish brushing my teeth and brush my freshly dried hair take a deep breath and exhale, I open the door and he's sitting on the bed with a pleading look in his eyes. "I need you to leave me alone right now." I don't wait for his response I leave the room and wonder around the big house I find a library there's mountains of books, but I'm only curious to what I am, I spot the laptop on the desk and look up in the search bar. Wait what on Earth do I search for, the most instant thought was witch, I look up trying to find if I'm a witch. 
                          
It doesn't fit with witch, then mutant comes up on screen, I need my blood tested to see if I carry a mutant gene. I jump when I hear Jason. "I know you want to be alone right now but I brought our historian who studies the supernatural to see if he can help you. I guess I'll leave you with Michael now." I turn around as he leaves. 
"Luna Mariah I see you have already started your search. He brings out a steel case, "ah mutation that's what I want to test you for, if it is the mutation, it is carried by the father and passed on that way." He pricks my finger and scans the blood. It's the longest loading bar I've seen.
"Well I don't know if you'd call it good news or not but you do appear to have a mutation and a rare one at that." "Well what is it." He then rushes over to one of the stacks of books and flips roughly threw the pages. "It seems your mutation is the manipulation of Kinetic energy, you can move things and Control almost anything you want to do with your emotions. If I may Luna what were your exact feelings when your powers took hold." "Um Anger but mainly hurt." "I see well if you can focus those emotions you will be able to control your gift. I will be leaving now Luna." "WAIT so I'm not human anymore." He shook his head in disagreement and with a sympathetic look said "Luna you are still human, but as I like to say a gifted human, goodbye dear." He bowed that was strange, and left. Ok I'm a mutant, a mutant that can control Kinetic energy, ok control I have to learn that. 
I was in a daze when I bumped into Jason. "Please I want you to talk to me curse me, hate me even hit me but please just t-talk to me." I ignore him and head downstairs to the kitchen I need to digest this new information thanks to Billy I'm a mutant well that's just great. I make myself a chicken tikka and salad wrap and drink some coffee. Jason walks in and sits beside me. "I hate that you slept with that, I'm guessing she was your type, then why would I be your mate, lucky me eh." I say sarcastically he frowns and shakes his head to disagree. "Look before I met you I didn't have a type, I'm known for being one of the most aggressive Alphas out there, and I never thought I'd get a mate because of all the things I've done. So yes unfortunately I slept around, Rachel thought she was more than what she was, I thought she'd be a good fuck, but she was pathetic really, I didn't sleep with her again I swear to you." 
I sighed after I finished eating I put my dish away in the dishwasher and drank the last part of my coffee. "I'm a mutant" he looked at me with concern and confusion. "Thanks to Billy he was a carrier he carried a mutant gene but he wasn't a mutant he passed it to me. I can manipulate Kinetic energy that's my mutation, it happens when I feel both hurt and anger, so thanks for bringing that out of me I needed to be more of a freak so round of applause for you." I start to leave and he grabs my arm forcing me into his embrace why did it feel so nice to be wrapped up in his arms. "Your not a freak your awesome and I'm sorry that it was because of my stupid fucking mistake that you discovered what you are. You'll never be a freak your gifted babe, I'd love you if you were human but this is freaking awesome." He'd love me, does he love me.
"I'm going to take Zany for a walk, " "Oh can I come with you please." He looked at me with the puppy dog eyes eeerrrhhh why do those eyes look so cute "Fine." I put the lead and harness on Zany and Jason took my free hand and we left the house. Zany suddenly growled at someone I looked up why do I have to keep seeing him. "Cute dog, he's got some attitude, Hey don't I know you from somewhere." I shook my head "no you must be mistaken." "HEY BUDDY CLEAR OFF if my girlfriend said your mistaken then clear the fuck off." Jason stood protectively in front of me at this particular moment I was glad he was here with me. He grabbed my hand tighter and pushed me behind him over to his other side so he was between me and Rylan the guy that raped me, I must tell Jason. Every time I see him I freeze I'm angry obviously but I'm terrified it just keeps replaying in my head every time I see him.
We finish up our walk I take off Zany's lead and shakily I remove his harness I guess it's now or never, I'll have to tell Jason. "Hey you ok that was the same guy from the hospital I'll understand if you don't want to tell me, but judging by your reaction your scared of him, you know him don't you, I'll kill him whatever he did." I interrupted him "His names Rylan he's best friends with my cousin David, David and I used to be close, some years ago David bought a new flat I was so happy and excited for him. I came over to congratulate him but when I got there he wasn't in I had never met Rylan before I'd never met any of David's friends before. He introduced himself but something inside me felt creeped out about him, so I told him to just tell David I stopped by. I was at the door when he grabbed the back of my hair,I screamed cause it hurt." I was now shaking my friends know the basic story and even telling them that made me tremble "sshh we can stop if you want." he pulled me to so on his lap, I shook my head "no I need to get it out." He nodded and kissed my lips a short kiss but it calmed me. "I kicked him in the private's my foot was at the perfect level but as soon as I stood up I was hit in the back of my head and blacked out. When I came to he was on top of me and my clothes were either missing or as-cue. I screamed for my cousins neighbours and tried to get him off but his whole body weight was on me. Then he took it, my virginity it hurt like a bitch, but I think he thought I was enjoying it when he finished. He got dressed and went to the kitchen I slowly got up everything hurt. I quickly fastened up my clothes again, and left in pain. Two days after it I met up with David and told him about it. He called me a lier and an attention seeker, he never wanted to see me again and he left." I finished finally breathing when I looked at Jason he was fuming he kissed my head "I'll be back in a minute, he's gonna pay." Jason left probably to kill Rylan, I grabbed his whiskey I need a drink to calm my nerves and as much as I love wine it's not strong enough. I down my third glass feeling a buzz, that soothes me I put the bottle away and wander upstairs I grab my bubble bath and pour it into the tub. I fix myself a nice relaxing bath and disrobe and get in. I miss Jason when he touches me I calm down instantly, but I guess I'll do it the hard way.
