Amelia's P.O.V.
I kept trying to ask him questions but he wouldn't budge and just stayed there watching me. It's starting to make me very uncomfortable. The room was very hot and no windows were visible. I hope Dona or somebody at least noticed my absence and already called 9-1-1. But, there were a lot of people at that party so that's definitely bringing my hopes down a little.
Not too long after, Jasmine entered the room.
"How are you holding on Princess?" Not in the mood to do any chit-chat with this woman, I stayed quiet.
"Not really sociable I see. Well, that's quite fine because I'm the only one who needs to do the talking." She took a chair from the corner and dragged it in front of me. I carefully watched her actions, anger visible in my gaze.
"Nick, please go outside and guard the door. Don't let anybody in, except for Kelly." I should've known she was in this too. She always had this hatred towards me ever since I met Dona. It actually got worse when I met the twins. I still don't know why though. Nick nodded and slipped out of the room without any word being said.
"Now back to you, I'm sure you have a lot of questions that I'll probably not let you ask but I'll respond to one that I'm sure you're dying to ask." Why the hell am I here?
"You're here on a purpose for revenge. Long story short, your dearest twins are part of a gang and so am I but we're rivals. Our boss, fell in love with the twin's mother while she was still married to their father. When the twin's father found out, he killed her and our boss was mad and had to get revenge. However, the twin's father was a scared little man and decided to move here. But of course, our boss found him and still holds a grudge. Too bad that your boyfriends already killed the man." Wait, they killed their father? What for? Did I get involved with murderers? Am I their next victim?
"So, since they're the new boss of their gang, they take on their father's debts and all. In all of that, it's just logical to kill their soulmate, and that's where you come in the picture." So I'm basically gonna die because of the twin's father. I still think this is complete bullshit, why do I have to pay the consequences for someone I've never known in my entire life?
"Thinking more about it, maybe the twins didn't love you at all and purposely killed the man so we could get to you instead of them. Maybe they wanted to get back with me." What was she talking about? Seeing the confused look on my face, she laughed hard as if I said the funniest joke she has ever heard.
"Girl, you don't think you're the only one who had a taste of the boys. They used to sleep around a lot but when they met me, something clicked in them and it was like love at first sight." She was smiling like a child and her eyes where lost as if remembering the day they met. Please shut up, I really don't want to hear this.
"We were so in love that we were ready to leave everything behind and run away together but of course, their father had to get in the way. I just realized something, if it wasn't for their father wanting to escape, we would still be together." Thank God her phone started ringing before she could open her mouth again, I just couldn't listen to this anymore. I really don't know what the twins saw in here but she's just a bitch to me that doesn't know when to shut up.
"Sorry, I need to take this. Stay seated, well you don't really have a choice anyway." Her pettiness made me want to punch her face. She walked out of the room and I was left with my own dark thoughts.
Edan's P.O.V.
I watched as Kelly hopped into her black Range Rover. I had this deep gut feeling that following her would bring me to Amelia.
Quickly turning to Ethan I roughly tugged on his shirt.
"Get in the car, we have to follow that black Range Rover. I have a feeling that she has Amelia." Without wasting time he walked to our car and I followed closely behind him.
"Can I come? If Amelia is in danger, I want to be there to help." Dona shouted from the other side of the street.
"Sorry, we can't risk putting you in danger too," I said. I can't put her in danger too and she might just slow us down.
The car stopped at an empty parking lot next to the woods. We made sure not to drive too close to it so it wouldn't be obvious.
She climbed out of the car, locked it, and walked into the woods while following a path.
After about two minutes, we assumed that it would be safe to get out of the car. Walking through the same path as Kelly was a little creepy. We didn't want to risk opening a flashlight in case someone was still around.
After a few minutes of walking, we spotted a building. It looked like one of those dirty public bathrooms that are built in the middle of nowhere.
While being extra careful of where our foot was stepping, we approached the small shed.
"Don't move any further," a voice said from behind us. Fuck we got caught.
We quickly pulled out our guns from our pockets and turned around to be met with a boy who looked around the same age as Amelia. He already had his gun pointed at while watching us skeptically.
"Wait, are you guys the twins?"
"Why do you want to know?" He tucked his gun back in his pocket.
"I'm Nick, Amelia's friend."
