"Okayyy those were some pretty deep poems from everyone! So once again...it's a TIE!"
Everyone groaned but decided to end the night here. They all got up to make their way back home. Sumedh took one last look at Mallika, who was in her own thoughts, before leaving. Sumedh immediately regretted the words. Great Sumedh...instead of reading what's on that stupid paper, you had to...HAD TO...say those other random words. But I'm still confused...how did I even come up with those words? It definitely wasn't planned....could they perhaps be true? As he was walking, he remembered what the grandma said... "Toh ise yeh sabit hota hai...ki nafrat bohot asani se pyar main badal sakti hai". (So this proves it ... that hate can easily turn into love ") Something's definitely changing my perspective...I just need to figure out what.
On the other hand, Mallika was in the same confusion. What did he mean by his poem? I keep getting a strong feeling it might have been directed towards...me? But no, it probably was for that dream girl....but why do I suddenly want that poem for me? Why did I suddenly want everything of his to be for me? It's like I'm starting to get feelings for him...NO WAY! I can't let this happen. It's not right....but...why can't it be right? She glanced down at his name on her hand, and with that drifted off into a deep sleep.

Early morning started off with haldi. Everyone was putting haldi on Naira, as she was smiling bright for her big day. Finally, it was time for the games. Naira's mother explained what it was. "Ok so Naira will be blindfolded with haldi in her hands. All you single girls have to escape from her. If she catches you and puts haldi on you...we all know what that means. You're getting married next!!"
Outfits:
Samarth and Sumedh had snuck in to watch the girls only celebration. As the game began, they were peeking from the staircase. Naira began chasing everyone around the hall as everyone ran behind furniture to escape. Mallika, on the other hand, was trapped because Naira was coming straight for her and she was stuck in a corner. Sumedh noticed this, grabbed a rock, and threw it somewhere behind Naira. She immediately turned around and started walking in that direction.
"DUDE! What if she trips on that?!" Samarth exclaimed.
"Oof someone's too worried for his wife."
Mallika was shocked by this. How did she turn around? I thought I was going to get caught for sure! The game continued on for a while when Naira suddenly heard someone creep behind her. She abruptly turned around and held them by their hair. She smeared haldi on their face and took off her blindfolds, to see someone's scrunched face.
"MALLIKA?!"
"Oww let go of my hair first!" Mallika winced.
"Oops sorry...WELL ANYWAYS....we all know what this means: Mallika your big day is next after mine!!"
Mallika started to blush. "Ok ok it's just a game. Nothing serious..."
Sumedh, who was watching all this, had a sensation inside him. He started smiling. Samarth noticed this and bumped his shoulder while raising his eyebrows at him in a teasing way. They quickly made their way out of the hall before they got caught.
Afterwards, a mixture of milk, honey, ghee, curd, and sugar was poured on Naira. Soon her haldi was over and the time for the wedding was getting near.

Everyone was in a rush. People were trying to get everything ready for the big day. Sumedh was overseeing that all of the pooja materials were ready while Mallika was overseeing all of the decorations and necessities for the guests. The two of them together, as a team, were making sure that everything was under control. Finally, all of the preparations were finished and the two of them went to get ready and to help their friends out as well.
Shorter part today...sorry...BUT the next one is quite special! Are you ready...?
Sumedh gives me Krishna vibes in this part especially :)
