INCHEON AIRPORT,

LUNDI 09:00

Ten hours in the air, Chaeyoung finally arrived. However, she is already late in school. She forgot to check the time difference between France and South Korea before taking plane tickets. Her Monday class schedule starts at nine in the morning but it was the exact time of departure.

She sat on the lobby and called Shinhye. "Mom, I arrived safely." She said on the phone. "How should I contact my step-sister?"

✆"You're still at the airport?" Shinhye responded on the other line.

"Yeah," Chaeyoung responded in a tired tone. "I forgot to check the time difference between France and South Korea. I just realized it when the plane departed."

✆"Oh, dear. You're late on your first day."

"Yeah, sucks."

✆"Sorry if I can't fetch you. I'm travelling right now so the driver is with me."

"It's alright, mom. I never complain about how busy you are."

✆"Thanks, tiger. Mina agreed to fetch you. I will send you her number. Wait for her, okay? Don't go anywhere."

"Okay, thanks." She watches the screen as the call ended. "She's calling me tiger again." She mumbled and called the number after she received it.

Few messed calls yet nobody is picking, so she ended up sending a message and waited for a reply. An hour passed yet there was no reply. She got hungry waiting, so she grabs some snacks. At first, she was shy to use Korean with someone else since she only used it towards Shinhye.

Chaeyoung was born in France, but Shinhye taught her how to speak Korean so she can communicate with her grandparents and other relatives or whenever she visited South Korea. It is her first time to set foot in South Korea. The entire student life she spends in France. She is a top student and is good at painting.

An hour next to an hour passed later. Yet nobody came to fetch her.

"Why isn't she here yet?" She mumbled, stretching her neck left and right, finding a familiar face. Yet again, her expectation failed her. "Maybe she had classes?" She sighed. "This is my fault. How could I forget to check the time difference? Am I too excited to be here? That's probably the case. Oh, well, I should get to the university on my own. I'll just gonna inform her. I can still make it before the afternoon class right?"

Three hours of waiting, Chaeyoung had to decide because she cares about her classes. She went to the information desk and ask which better transportation should she take to Maxence Woman University.

"It is your first time here?" The lady asked.

"Yes," Chaeyoung responded sheepishly.

"I'll get you a taxi registered from the company to secure your safety. Wait a minute." The lady settled a taxi and call the security outside to escort Chaeyoung. "It's all settled, Ma'am. The security will escort you to the taxi."

"Thank you so much." She bows in gratitude and the lady smiled in response.

The security escorted her to the taxi and not long after, the taxi brings her to the greatest woman university in South Korea.
