"Dad! we have the time blade," Lloyd said as he ran up to his father who was delighted. "Which one?" He asks. "It slows things down," Nya answers. Garmadon quickly took the blade and ran to Wu. Before anyone could ask what was happening Garmadon punched Wu with the time blade. The ninja all gave exclamaitions when Wu bolts out of bed wide eyed. "The effects should have stopped now brother," Garmadon said to Wu and everyone was confused so Wu explained. "When fighting Acronix I was bunched with the forward blade and have been rapidly aging. I predict I have aged only a few months the slow blade reverses the rapid aging but not the months I have lost," Wu said. The ninja were upset Wu hadn't told them but we're also happy their master was now better. 
                          
Later Kai was staring at the helmets symbol lost in a train of thought. While everyone else was messing around with the blade he was looking through history books. "What is with him? We catch a break and he's stuck in a  book," Nya said. "Don't ask me he's your brother," Jay said. "And he's Cole's yang so Cole see what's up with him," Nya said as the ninja in black shredded a box with the time blade. "Already did he said the symbol on the helmet reminded him of something and he needed to focus," Cole answers noticing how Kai had not even looked up from the helmet. "Hey babe any closer?" Cole asks. "No," Kai responds in a montone voice. "Maybe you should ask the masters they might know," Lloyd suggests. Kai looked up at that idea and smiles. "Good idea," Kai said and went to the masters who were drinking tea outside. "Hey masters do you regonize this symbol? It feels familair but I can't quite place it," Kai said showing them the symbol. They looked at it then gasped before looking at each other. "Kai get your sister now," Wu said and Kai was confused. "Why? Where is it from?" Kai asks them. "Just get your sister," Garmadon orders more sternly. Kai went inside and was really confused. "Hey Nya the masters wanted to talk to you to," Kai said and she was confused. "Why?" she asks and Kai shrugs his shoulders as they both went outside then followed the masters to there room. 
                          
Garmadon opens a chest and got out a double golden bladed sword with a royal blue ribbon on one side and a red one on the other side. "Masters what is it? What does the symbol mean?" Kai asks. "This changes everything," Wu mutters stroking his long beard as Garmadon handed Kai the double bladed sword. "That is your-" Garmadon starts before a loud bang shook the entire building. They all ran outside with the others to see a bunch of vermillion eggs being launched up at them onto the temple. They looked over the edge to see the vermillion army at the bottom. "They're here for the blade," Lloyd said. "Yah think?!" Jay asks sarcasitcally. A egg pops open and vermillion formed with weapons. "Protect the blade," Lloyd orders.   
                          
A particurarly large egg came and crashed out coming the biggest vermillion warroir they had seen yet. "Oh come on!" Cole said. 
                          
Kai's POV
                          
The giant snake charges at us and picked me up before throwing me onto the bridge followed by Nya who landed ontop of me. I suddenly got a idea. "Hey Nya remeber what we would do to our babysitters if they made us go to bed early?" I asked her and she was confused before smiling. "Of course," She answers as the snake knocked the last of the team away. 
                          
"Hey you!" Nya yells as I took my postition behind it. "It's not my bed time," Nya yells sliding under it's swinging arm. "Because I still got plently of energy," Nya finishes as I bent over and tripped the snake it falling down to the ground going splat. Me and Nya high fives as Jay comments. "Whatever your sitters were being paid wasn't nearly enough," We both laughed because it wasn't a lie they used to call us the devil children. 
                          
We didn't have time to celebrate though as another round of vermillion showed up and we started fighting them off. They just kept coming for every one we defeated another came up behind us to replace it. Even the masters helping wasn't doing any good. "I'm gonna try and deal with them down there," Lloyd said and summons his dragon before we could do anything. I looked over and saw the snakes swarming him and he lost his dragon. He started falling but luckily Nya showed up in her samurai X mech and caught him. Everyone sighed in relief. Suddenly though I felt a hard hit to my ribs as I'm knocked back into the temple wall. Acronix was there towering over me with the emerald time blade. "Well well your coming with us little ninja," Acronix said reaching down to grab me when he was blasted away with dirt and Cole enters my vision helping me up. "Don't even touch him," Cole growls and my heart flutters that he cared about me that much.
