I woke up panicked for a moment of not knowing where I was. I quickly calmed down and realised where I was but it was colder than when I fell asleep. Kylo was gone. It was understandable, seeing as he does have other business on the Starkiller base than me. I looked around and couldn't see a clock anywhere. I also didn't know if we were going to train or not.

I pulled myself out of the huge comfortable bed and made my way back to my own room, greeting Katia on the way. I looked at the clock in my room and it was only 5am. Sure it's early but i'm awake now so I may as well stay up. I took a quick shower and got changed. I decided to ask Katia about training. I stepped outside the door, and the cold air of the Starkiller base hit me.

"Hey Katia, do you know about training or anything?" I said staring at the stormtrooper.

"No, sorry Miss (Y/n). I don't." She replied.

"Oh alright that's fine. Do you think it'd be alright if I just went for a walk by myself?" I asked politely, not wanting her to come with me. I did like Katia, but I just wanted some alone time.

"I don't see why not." Katia said.

"Thanks, see you in a bit" I gave a little wave before walking off.

I was just wandering around, and to be entirely honest just looking for Kylo. I somehow by amazing luck walked past a room and felt his presence. I stepped back and the door was slightly ajar. I looked in to see Kylo and Hux alone in a conference sort of room arguing. I couldn't help but eavesdrop on the conversation.

"Snoke has specifically requested you bring her to him" Hux practically spat his words at Kylo.

"I don't care. She's going nowhere yet! She's not ready." Kylo yelled.

"I'm not cleaning up after this mess, nor am I dealing with Snoke" Hux sneered.

"I will take care of it!" Kylo practically screamed.

He raged all the way to the door and used the force to push it open. The door hit me in the face and I almost fell on to the ground. Kylo stopped dead in his tracks looking over at me. I stood there holding my jaw.

"(Y/n)?! What are you doing here?! How much did you hear?!" Kylo shouted at me breathing heavily, the aggressiveness still remaining from his argument with Hux.

I don't know what came over me but as soon as he screamed at me, I felt tears welling in my eyes. It was possible it could have been mixed with the fact that my jaw was really painful.

"I-I don't know- uh s-something about Snoke" I stuttered the whole way through the sentence holding back tears.

I stood there feeling borderline scared, and sad. We had come so far and then all of a sudden he was being aggressive again. He stood there still breathing loudly and heavily. Please don't hurt me, I thought to myself.

"I-I didn't mean to, are you alright?..." He said in his robotic voice, placing his cold leather glove on my face.

It was actually quite soothing. A single tear fell and he wiped it away with his thumb. Suddenly Hux stepped out of the room and stared at us,

"What is going on here?" Hux scoffed.

"None of you're business." Kylo said menacingly, pausing between each word.

Hux was clearly shaken by his words so he just scoffed again and walked away quickly. I stood there still frozen. Kylo pulled his hand away from my face.

"(Y/n), about what you heard...don't worry about it. You will not speak of it to anyone." He said, his huge body looming over me.

It had been a long time since I had seen him that angry. I was genuinely a small bit scared.

"I apologise, come, i'll take you to the medical bay to get some ice." He said going to take my hand. I instinctively pulled away. He sighed and asked me to follow him. I walked slowly behind him staying quiet. I know it wasn't intentional but there was no need for it. He had told me that he'd never hurt me again.

"I didn't mean to..." He turned to me as we continued walking.

"I know" I said quietly.

We arrived and Kylo ordered one of the medical droids to bring me some ice. I sat down in one of the beds with my legs dangling down and Kylo sat on a chair beside me.

"You might at least take off your mask, I like seeing you." I tried to weakly smile but my jaw was too sore. I still don't know why I always forgive him so easily.

He put his hands on his mask and pulled it off. His long black waves flowing to his shoulders. I just stared at his obviously apologetic expression. One of the medic droids came in with some ice. Kylo walked over and took it off the droid. He came back over to me and I moved my hand away from my face.

He very gently pressed the ice to my face holding it there. "Does that feel better?" he asked.

"Yeah, but since when did you become a nurse?" I joked.

I could see the corner of his mouth tug upward to a smirk. "Anything for you, beautiful..." he said looking directly into my eyes.

I felt butterflies in my stomach and my face blush. Did he just call me beautiful?!

"Yes" Kylo said smiling lightly. This only made me blush even harder. Seeing him smile just filled me with joy.

I just laughed awkwardly, I had no idea how to accept the compliment. He could just being toying with me though....

"What would make you think that?" He asked, practically searching my eyes.

"You really need to teach me how to block my thoughts." I sighed.

"Maybe." He said sounding sort of mischievous, a tone which I had never heard come from him before.
