Thank you again, I really hope for "Scream" to get more views so I can perhaps receive some feedback on how to improve my writing skills. Writing my first book has been such a great learning experience and I am truly grateful to all who have read this book. I'd love for more people to read it, but to have any reads at all, I can't thank you enough. The last chapter will be posted on Christmas day but it's not over there! I have written an Epilogue for you guys to read as well! That will be posted on January 1st of 2015. I hope everyone is having a spectacular holiday break. xxx Mona

Dance night; is the night where everyone should be carefree, content and full of joy. On this night, my school has dedicated it to be the night of fun, the night of the Century. Not only was tonight dedicated to all of that, it was also the night after Jules’s death. I had told Elena and Lux about Jules and they had both been grief-struck. So much has happened in the past weeks; never before had I experienced so many emotions in such a short period of time. I’ve gotten to know love, grief, happiness, hope, emptiness and pain better than I have over the years of my life. I feel as if I’ve experienced every emotion known to man in the past couple of weeks. Never less, I had promised Jules I’d at least try and have fun. If not for myself, I tried for him. Elena and Lux came to my house to get ready for the dance. They each brought their dresses and make up bags. While we were getting ready, I was struggling to keep my mind off of Jules. He would’ve been excited to go to the dance as a group. He loved parties, and us. The moment the thought came, the grief struck again; hard. I tried again to push the thought away and distracted myself by looking over to my friends who were applying their makeup. Lux wore a beautiful long, chiffon, light peachy pink, backless dress that made her outstanding long legs a killer feature. Her five inch heels were also a peachy pink colour. She enhanced her natural waves in her hair and put on winged eyeliner to make her eyes stand out. Her false lashes made her look even more stunning. Elena, Lux and I all wore false eye lashes tonight, taking advantage of this occasion by applying the most elegant but fun makeup we had. Elena’s dress was short and a pale blue colour. It fanned outwards further down the bottom and ended just above her knees. The straps were dazzled with false diamonds and they went from the middle of the heart shaped top and like a V, around her neck. She wore five inch silver shimmer strap heels. Her dress and shoes complemented her blond locks perfectly. Her mixture of dark and light blue eye makeup matched her dress and eyes without a flaw. I had decided on wearing a floor length dress. The top was black, strapless and heart shaped. There was a thick line of false diamonds going around my torso, just below my chest. The long pink section widened further along the bottom. I curled my straight brunette hair and wore black five inch heels. I put on gold eye shadow and added a few dashes of silver sparkles. I evened the gold out onto my skin by blending it in with a brown eye shadow that was similar to my eye colour. At about eight o’clock at night, my door bell rang. We were all ready and we each grabbed our matching black and gold mini purses. I opened the door to see our dates standing on the front porch. Lux’s date was Dylan Saltzman. They looked and were great together. His light brown hair went well with Lux’s strawberry blonde locks. Lux’s hazel eyes were the opposite of Dylan’s light blue eyes. He had slight stubble so he looked older and complemented Lux’s young features. Their personalities reflected each other like a perfect match. Elena’s date was a boy named Josh Sinclair. Josh and Elena should’ve been dating long before; they are truly an outstanding match. Not only did they have similar personalities, but they looked fitting for each other as well. Josh had dirty blond hair, green blue eyes and he was a perfect height for Elena. She was tall being 5’9 and Josh was 6’4. He had a lean figure and a warm smile. With all those boys aside, the man who took my breath away, was my love; Silas Michelson. Sure he wasn’t human but he was mine and I was in love with him. His strong build was pervaded in moonlight and shone like a star among the other boys. His flawless features made my breath catch. His sharp jaw line and mysterious eyes made my heart flutter with love. Around him, I felt like a child with an enormous crush. Every time his beautiful, dark eyes gazed upon mine, I felt as if all of the weight on my chest lifted like a feather. His smooth, silky lips were always curved into a curt, killer smile sent floods of warmth throughout my entire body. Like the others, he wore a black and white tuxedo. The other boys were wearing long, black ties but Silas wore a black bow tie that looked absolutely divine on him. “Hello beautiful.” Silas said when I had opened the door. He took my hand in his. Smiling I said “Come in guys.” My mother walked towards everyone and said “Girls you look stunning! Boys you look handsome, as always.” “Mrs Thomas; you look great.” Silas said and gave my mom a kiss on the cheek. “You’re too sweet Silas. Alright everyone, come in, let’s take a few pictures.” My mother took pictures of us, arm in arm with our dates. “Okay guys, have a good time.” She told us smiling. We walked out of the door and into the night. “After you” Silas said, motioning towards the black limo. Silas leaned towards me and pressed his warm, soft lips on mine. I heard Lux squeal and Elena yelled “This is going to fabulous!” I laughed and gave Silas an enormous hug. “This is a dream come true.” The last thing I saw was Silas’s beauty, bathed in moonlight, than we stepped into the dazzling black limo.
