BEING A POGUEis basically Kai Lynch's birthright. And growing up, he was best friends with John B and JJ, then Pope and Kiara came along. He loves to smoke pot, party with his friends and had been growing up in the Outerbanks ever since he was a kid, his mom being a single mom after his dad split when he found out about her pregnancy with Kai. Which is why Kai is a pogue.
Kai has known what it was like since he was a kid, the Kooks were not their friends and they lived in the slums of the Outerbanks.
He knew his place in this world, and he didn't really give a damn. He just lived his life, having fun with friends and drinking or smoking with them. He was a teenager, it's what they do.
Until things changed. And he ends up searching for lost gold from a shipwreck a really long time ago, so they can be rich. 400 million dollars IN GOLD rich. To go full Kook together.
