The  morning, I woke up feeling refreshed and rested.

"Hey!!! It's just 8:30 in the morning I can--"

"FUCK!!!"

I am late damn! Shit! Stupid alarm can't wake me up before ... the joy of anticipating Mr. Frank's 'warm' welcome. There I was, rummaging through my closet for something that didn't scream 'I slept through my alarm,' all the while muttering to myself about the delightful reception awaiting me at the office. "Now Mr. Frank will welcome me with his beautiful smile," I said with a roll of my eyes so hard I almost saw my brain. The sarcasm was thicker than the pile of unwashed laundry I had just tripped over.

I glanced at the clock and realized with a sinking feeling that I was already running late. The thought of Mr. Frank's disapproving glare, masquerading as a smile, sent a shiver down my spine. It's the kind of smile that could freeze coffee, and let me tell you, it's not because he's overjoyed to see me. I braced myself for the inevitable, ready to return his greeting with the cheesiest, most over-the-top grin I could muster. After all, if you're going to be late, you might as well do it with style.

As the sun spilled through my window, I found myself ambling towards the mirror with a casual, unhurried gait.  With a yawn and a stretch, I closed the gap between my reflection and me, standing face to face with the person I've come to know inside and out.

The mirror, a silent confidant, held no judgments or expectations. It merely reflected the truth of who I was in that sliver of time. I couldn't help but let a small, knowing smile tug at the corners of my mouth as I took in the sight of myself. There I was, in all my perfectly imperfect glory.

With a final nod to the person in the mirror, I turned away, feeling a little more grounded and a lot more grateful.

"I got a Sexy body," I said while looking at the mirror.

"Stop admiring yourself Ash," my mum said to me.

With a final nod to the person in the mirror, I turned away, feeling a little more grounded and a lot more grateful. I turned and said

"How can I not "sexy" "??

"Stop calling me that Ash I am your mother, "told my mum
