"what the fuck are you dressed as?" jake asked, laughing at tara, kyla and i.
"we're space cowboys!" i laughed.
"i like the hat." colby laughed, motioning to my pink fluffy cowboy hat. "you girls look cute." he complimented.
"thank you, at least one of them gets it." i laughed.
"ash, will you do my makeup?" colby asked me.
"yeah, of course." i laughed, grabbing his hand and pulling him into my room. colby wanted me to do skull makeup on him since he didn't want to actually dress up. i agreed, obviously.
"does jake still want me to do his makeup?" i asked colby.
"i think taras going to try but she doesn't seem very confident in herself." he laughed. "are your friends coming?" he asked me.
"baylen and grayson are... lilah works." i told him. "they're just gonna meet us there."
"cool. i really like your cowboy hat." he laughed, looking at it.
"thanks." i grinned. "my goal for the night is to get piss drunk and find a hot guy to makeout with." i joked.
"same... except the hot guy part." he laughed, making me giggle.
"stop moving!" i exclaimed as he tried to move.
"sorry! he laughed.
since today is my birthday, all of my friends, and the boys friends (who are becoming my friends) we all went out for a nice dinner, deciding to actually celebrate by going to disneyland the following week.

"hey, ashton." colby announced, walking into my room without knocking.
"just come right in." i laughed.
"we don't have boundaries around here." he laughed.
"clearly."
"anyways, sam and i are going to brunch if you'd like to join us." he said. "please come, sam is on his man period." colby whispered, making me laugh.
"fine. exit so i can get ready." i said, getting out of bed. i'm not one to get hungover but man did my head hurt after last night.
i threw a dirty sweater on and a random pair of leggings, seeing as october in new york is fairly chilly. i ran into my bathroom, brushing me teeth before i quickly brushed through my eye brows i slid on the first pair of shoes i saw. i braided my hair into two french braids, as fast as i could, before walking out of my room.
"you ready?" sam asked me.
"yeah." i nodded, walking over to the boys. "where are we going?"
"just across the street. there's a little cafe over there." colby told me.
"ashton, would you be okay with us introducing you to our fans?" sam asked. i've been living with the boys for two weeks now so i also thought i was ready for the public to know who i am.
"yeah, of course... like a video, picture, livestream?" i asked.
"we could put it in the vlog on my channel." colby suggested as we walked across the street.
"can i clickbait it and pretend that you're my girlfriend?" he asked with a laugh.
"gotta get views somehow, go for it." i laughed.
"we can introduce you in my vlog today and then you can come film with us tomorrow if you want." they offered.
"i have to work tomorrow." i groaned.
"what time?" sam asked.
"8pm-3am." i sighed, taking a sip of the coffee that sam had bought for me.
"we can go early in the morning so you can be back early. our old roommate, elton, is going." they told me.
"okay, cool." i smiled. "what're we filming?"
"there's an abandoned mansion upstate that we wanna check out. it's like barely touched." sam informed me.
"that's sick. where i grew up, there's an abandoned water park. it's like super lowkey. nobody knows about it unless they live by it." i told them.
"that's dope. we should take a little road trip out there someday." colby suggested.
"i'd be happy to show you guys around there."

"guys, id like to introduce you to someone!" colby said, panning the camera over to my face.
"hiiii! i'm ashton." i smiled, standing on my tip toes and using colby as balance so the camera can see me.
"right, so guys, this is ashton. i've been waiting to introduce you guys to her but now you can finally meet my girlfriend." he said. i looked at him with a grin and kissed his cheek, trying to make it believable.
"yeah, we've been together for two weeks, i live here at the 'trap apartment' now." i said, making colby roll his eyes. the boys call our apartment the trap house but i like to call it the trap apartment, just cause i know it pisses them off.
"just kidding guys." colby chuckled. "we aren't dating but this is our new roommate, ashton. she took eltons old room here. we love having her around. she's the life of the party."
"aw, thanks colbs." i laughed.
"of course, angel." he joked. "i'm gonna cut out the angel part so no one attacks you for it." he whispered, both of us laughing.
"wow i love that you care about my well being." i joked back, making him laugh.
"our eyes match." he said, completely randomly, looking at my eyes.
"they do." i giggled. "yours are prettier."
"i have to disagree with you on that one, ash." he said. "uh- back to the video. so yeah guys, this is our new roommate ashton. she'll be filming with us a lot more from now on."
"i'm looking forward to doing all this scary shit. oh- am i allowed to curse?" i asked.
"yeah." he laughed. "so guys, go follow ashton on her socials. she's @ ashtonwinston on all platforms and we're working on convincing her to make a youtube channel so watch out for that too." he smiled.
"thanks for the plug." i joked as he turned the camera off.
"it's the least i could do." he laughed.

"why have we never had a girl roommate? this is the life." jake laughed as i stood in the kitchen, making chicken scampi for everyone.
"right! and look in the sink... no dishes! this was the best decision ever." corey said, also laughing.
"keep hyping me up and you'll never have to cook or clean again." i joked.
"done." jake said.
"hey, what's up?" colby asked, exiting his room.
"i'm making everyone dinner so don't order food." i warned.
"aw thanks ashton." he smiled, basically throwing himself on the couch.
"where's sam?" corey asked.
"he took kat out for dinner. i doubt he'll be back anytime soon." colby said, turning the office on.
"is jake asleep?" i asked, laughing since i had literally just talked to him.
"he can literally fall asleep anywhere."
"do you guys want dessert too? i can make pretty much anything." i asked them.
"please make cookies!" corey excitedly responded.
"okay." i laughed in response to coreys adorable reaction.
