No ones POV:

It was a normal day at the small apartment. Kenma was sitting on the couch eating cereal while watching old cartoons they had on the boomerang channel. (B/f/n) and Kuroo went out for a breakfast date and (Y/n) was enjoying being able to sleep in without hearing (b/f/n)s snoring.
Kenma was smiling at the old cartoons they played when he heard the soft pats of (Y/n)s footsteps emerging from the bedroom. When Kenma caught sight of what she was wearing his face turned a light shade of red. She was only wearing a baggy shirt and underwear.
"(Y/n)!" Kenma whisper shouted.
(Y/n) jumped a bit from Kenma outburst and still being half asleep.
"What?"
"What are you wearing?!"
"Pajamas?"
"What if Kuroo saw you like this?!"
"But he's gone? How would he see me?"
"They could come home at any-"
(Y/n) just held out her hand to stop him from talking and took a big yawn.
"Ok I think it's cute youre all jealous and stuff but I only wore this to bed because I knew the others were gone. (B/f/n) knows this and said she'd text me before they got home so don't worry okay?"
Kenma let out a small sigh of relief and nodded. After a few moments (y/n) had joined him on the couch with her own bowl of cereal. Kenma was still a light shade of red as (Y/n)s legs were kicked up on his lap.
Once she caught sight of Kenma still blushing (y/n) gave him a confused face.
"Why are you embarrassed? It's not like this is the first time you've seen my bare legs."
This only caused Kenmas face to burn brighter.
"Why do you say things like that so casually?" He whispered, trying not to stare at his girlfriend.
With another spoonful of fruity pebbles, (y/n) pointed her spoon at Kenma and smiled.
"Because. I have top energy." With that comment she sent Kenma a wink causing him to break. Kenma buried his face in his hands, practically glowing.
(Y/n) sent her bowl on the coffee table and then went back over to Kenma.
"Aw kitten. Come on it was just a joke." She wrapped her arms around Kenma, kissing the side of his head. Before she realized what was happening Kenma had flipped them so (Y/n) was pinned under him on the couch. Now it was (y/n)'s turn to start blushing.
"K-kitten?" (Y/n) asked nervously. Kenma just stared down at her for a moment for slowly leaning down. (Y/n) was expecting him to kiss her but at the last second he turned and went back to watching the cartoons on the tv.
(Y/n) was a bit shocked but pouted non the less.
"Tease."
"What'd you say?"
(Y/n) just glared at him and repeated "tease."
With one swift motion Kenma had picked up (Y/n) started walking.
She let out a small shriek of laughter. She wasn't sure if she could actually push Kenmas buttons. But being the little sh** she is, it worked.
"Text (b/f/n) and Kuroo and tell them to stay out another couple hours."
"Already on it."
-time skip-
It was near nighttime when Kuroo and (B/f/n) had gotten back.
"Geez guys did you have to make ya stay out all day?" Kuroo commented as he took a seat at the table.
(Y/n) and Kenma just exchanged confused glances.
"We told y'all you could come home at 1."
"We didn't trust you."
Kenma just rolled his eyes at that and went back to his laptop. (Y/n) went 'Really?' And waved her hand dismissively.
"So while we were out Kuroo and I got to thinking.." (b/f/n) said, pausing to make sure she had the other couples attention.
"That's dangerous." (Y/n) joked only to have Kuroo ruffle her hair like a big brother would.
"We're going to start looking for another apartment."
Both (Y/n) and Kenma stopped what they were doing when they heard this. (Y/n) had lived with her friend for the past 7 years.
"You're moving here Kuroo?" (Y/n) asked.
Kuroo and (B/f/n) looked at each other trying to decide what to say.
"Actually I'm moving back home." (B/f/n) spoke cautiously. "I can still work, I'll just be relocated to the Japan franchise now."
(Y/n) wasn't sure what to say. She was going to be alone? (B/f/n) was going back to Japan? How long had she been thinking on this and not said anything. But instead of letting her face betray her true emotions (Y/n) put on a smile and gave a hug to the two.
"Well thats amazing! I'm so excited for you two!"
It seemed as if Kuroo and (b/f/n) were breathing a sigh of relief. They were really scared of how (y/n) would react.
"Thanks! We think it's been long enough and we just can't do the long distance relationship anymore."
Kenma still hadn't said anything but he got up and silently congratulated the two. His minded was very much preoccupied with his own relationship. Everyone had finished their dinner and Kuroo and (b/f/n) decided to go to bed. They finally chose to share (b/f/n)s bed so (y/n) could sleep in her own bed and Kenma didn't have to sleep on the couch anymore.
(Y/n) quickly changed in the bathroom and put her hair up in a small bun (or ponytail if it's short) and then let Kenma in to brush his teeth. After the two finished they went to (y/n)s room and slipped into bed. It was oddly quiet in the room, not like they were shy about sleeping in the same bed, no nothing like that. They each were thinking about their relationship and what would become of it. For the last 2 years of their relationship it had been long distance and it'd become so hard. (Y/n) at one point almost broke things off because they hadn't spoken in about a month she couldn't take it.
"So what are you thinking about?" She asked, playing with her sleeve.
"Us. What about you?"
"Same thing. What do you think about us?"
"I think... I'm tired of not seeing you everyday. Of only being able to see you through a screen. I want us to be more." Kenma spoke quietly and (y/n) listened. A lot of people thought Kenma didn't talk a lot but (y/n) knew about the times she couldn't get him to shut up. And luckily, he was never shy to tell her how he was feeling in their relationship.
"I want to be more too. So what would you say to moving out here?" (Y/n) asked.
"Moving? What why?"
"So we wouldn't have to do long distance anymore."
"(Y/n).. my work is back home. My life is there."
"But I'm here." (Y/n)s voice cracked at the end like she was trying to not cry, which she was.
"Why don't you come back to Japan?"
"Because kenma! I worked so hard to make something of myself here. You could easily find another job here."
"Your life here is in the spotlight. You know I don't want that."
"How is my life in the spotlight?! I made one animation and people know my voice actors better then they know my name. I'm a background image Kenma."
Kenma just shook his head. "I don't want to have to start over. And (Y/n) this isn't my home. I don't know how it's yours. You're always complaining how much it's not like when you were back home."
"But I'm not that person anymore! I'm not the same shy girl who you first met. Yes this city sucks to no end but theres good thing about it too. And one of them would be if you were here with me." By now (Y/n) had tears rolling down her face.
"I-this wasn't the plan. You said you wanted to come out here for more opportunities for your art and as soon as it took off you'd come back." Kenma whispered feeling overwhelmed by the conversation.
"Plans change! You think I planned on loving someone? I swore I wouldn't because I didn't want to be like my parents. Then I met you and now I can't imagine my life without you. But Kenma I can't keep doing this long distance. We haven't seen each other in two years. What are we going to wait another two until the next time I can see your face in person?"
"You think this has been easy on me? I've always supported you and what you wanted. But it's like you don't even take my feelings into account. If I had any say in this relationship then I would've proposed a year ago but I couldn't. Because you were here and had so much stuff going on. I'm tired of waiting (y/n)."
(Y/n) turned on her side, silently crying as she curled up and tried to think on what he just told her. Kenma threw his arm over his face, tears starting to fall down his cheeks.
Both partners decided not to face each other for the night, mulling over what just happened.
-time skip-
The next morning Kenma had woken up first and was in the dining room with (B/f/n) talking and having a cup of coffee.
"So you and (y/n) had a fight?" She asked bluntly.
"What? How'd you know?"
"Because we could hear you. You guys might not have realized it but you were yelling."
Kenma just stared down at his coffee. He didn't realize it. He must've been more worked up then he realized.
"So... what do think we should do?"
"I think... you two expected different things when you were still in Japan. You guys didn't vocalize much back then and I know she was scared of screwing everything up so she chose to come out here."
"What?"
(B/f/n) sighed and put down her coffee cup.
"(Y/n) will always say that the fear of failure is what stops her from doing things. But when it comes to you it's the fear that she'll be like her family. So when someone wanted to publish her comics she found her opportunity to run. She will always run when she's scared, you know that. And her staying out her is more of comfort and security. Like a blanket. Moving back to Japan with you means more chance of her messing something up. At least in her mind that's what she believes. And with what happened with Nana... she had a lot of reasons to run."
"Hey (b/f/n) ready to go?" Kuroo came into the kitchen to ask.
"Yeah I am. Bye Kenny."
As the two left (Y/n) walked in and looked like she had just went through a messy breakup.
When she looked at Kenma she quickly averted her eyes before Kenma saw.
"We need to talk about last night (Y/n)."
"I don't really feel like talking right now."
"Well guess what. I do. I get you like it out here and this is where everything took off for you but where do I fit in here? I want to be there for you but your life here doesn't involve me. It hasn't and that wouldn't change if I just moved here."
"I-I cant go back... I just can't face it again." (Y/n) buried her face in her hands and hunched over as she cried. Kenma wasn't sure if he should but he was still in a relationship with this girl (as far as he knew) so he went over and wrapped her tightly in a hug.
"You can't run forever (Y/n)... and you need to know that I'll always face it with you."
This only caused her to cry more. Even when she tried running from such an amazing guy he still stood by her.
"I'm sorry I'm such a pain in the a**."
Kenma just chuckled at her. "Nobody's perfect. Besides, there's no one I'd rather be with."
