Snufkin slowly woke up, groaning slightly and rolling his shoulders before it turned into a stretch, his back feeling sore. It was weird cause his sleeping bag was feeling softer than normal.

Maybe it was because he was feeling cramped? Snufkin tried to open his eyes but they quickly fell back down. Where was he? Was there something as his feet? His legs felt hot. Snufkin's eyes slowly open and he sat up, looking around.

It made sense that it was softer then what Snufkin was used to, seeing as he wasn't in his tent. He was at Moomin house, in Moomin's room. Snufkin moved his arm up to scratch a spot on his jaw before moving it up to rub the tiredness out of his eyes.

After a minute of Snufkin sitting there, trying to let his eyes adjust to the new light filtering through the window, he looked more carefully around Moomin's room.

There was nothing different than normal, so Snufkin let his eyes fix onto the bed he was in. Of course Moomin was next to him, small snores leaving the boys mouth while he slept with tangled legs that mixed in with Snufkin's.

Snufkin let his gaze shift from Moomin after a good minute of looking, seeing at the end of the bed was his older sister.

Snufkin would be confused if it wasn't normal to see her like this. She was curled up like a puppy and laid at the footboard of the bed with an extra cover sloppily thrown over her shape.

It was rather hot in the room with the light not helping it so Snufkin found himself slowly pulling his legs back to his own body, before swinging them over the edge of the bed. The boy looked at the floor before shifting his gaze up to the clock Moomin had, taking in the time. 6:21.

Snufkin huffed silently, cursing himself for waking up so early, knowing there was a good chance he'd have nothing to really do all day. He stood up, his legs slightly wobbly, before heading out of Moomin's room.

Snufkin honestly couldn't remember what had happened last night. He remembered hugging Moomin and talking for what felt like hours but then it was just like Snufkin has dreamed it and his mind was already busy erasing the moments.

Snufkin slowly walked down the stairs, watching his footing with every step. When he made it to the living room he looked around, almost as if he was paranoid. It was completely silent and it was making Snufkin feel a little off.

Yes, Snufkin absolutely loved silence; rather it be because it grew up with so many siblings or just because it was calming, he loved it being quiet around him. Although something about this silence was eerie. It made him feel kind of uncomfortable.

Snufkin made his way to the couch, looking out of the window behind it and taking in the scenery around him. He stood back up straight, and questioned if he wanted to leave the house yet.

There wasn't much to do out there, but it was surely more than inside. Snufkin nodded, deciding he wanted to go out before realizing he didn't has his hat or scarf. Snufkin turned around, only to be meted by Moomin slowly and tiredly walking down the stairs.

"Snufkin.." Moomin started, his voice sounding a bit whiny. "Why are you up? It's so early." Moomin said, stopping at the bottom of his stairs and trying to rub the tiredness out of his eyes. Snufkin shrugged before looking around him and speaking up.

"I just kinda woke up. Say, where is my scarf and hat?" Snufkin asked looking Moomin in the eyes and Moomin looked at him confused. He thought for a few seconds, "I think you left them both in your tent last night." Snufkin's eyebrows scrunched and he tried to think.

"You know, I don't really remember anything other than talking after the hug." Snufkin admitted and Moomin looked shocked. "Nothing?" Moomin's voice seemed to waver a bit. "No, not really. Why do you say it like that? Did something happen?" Snufkin questioned and Moomin adverted eye contact.

"No not really, I'm just surprised I guess." The blue eyed boy spoke up after a second. "Are you sure? You seemed hesitant to say that." Snufkin asked, walking over to Moomin. Moomin stayed silent. "What? Did I do something stupid?" Snufkin asked as he tried to get any memories back from the night before.

"Well I don't know if you would classify it as stupid per say." Moomin answered, and Snufkin looked worried for a second. "Did I bite My back?" "What- no, I don't think you'd be stupid enough to bite her back." Moomin said looking confused at him.

"Well what did I do?" Snufkin asked and Moomin flushed red. "Nothing important." He said quickly, turning around and making his way into the kitchen. Snufkin followed him "Well then why did you say it like that?" Snufkin questioned the obviously flustered Moomin.

"Because it wasn't." Moomin answered stopping near the table. Snufkin leaned onto a chair at the table with his arms crossed over each other sitting on the top of the back, looking at the back of Moomin's head as he began to talk "Dove I don't think you would've said it like that if it really wasn't."

It was true, it was important to Moomin but he couldn't believe Snufkin didn't remember. He guessed a part of him was annoyed that Snufkin didn't remember but he couldn't tell why. Moomin stayed silent, still blushing madly and Snufkin looked at him with slightly pleading eyes. "Please, dove?" Snufkin asked in a quiet voice "Cant you just tell me what happened?" He finished and Moomin stayed silent.

He couldn't figure out why he couldn't get himself to just tell Snufkin what happened. It stayed silent for a good minute before Snufkin sighed "Ok then, you don't have to tell me." He said, resting his cheek on his fist.

"Good morning darlings." The two boys turned their heads to see Moominmamma calmly walking into the kitchen. "Morning mama." "Morning Moominmamma." Moomin and Snufkin replied, watching her walk up to inbetween and infront of the two.

She opened her mouth and began to speak, asking if they wanted to help make breakfast.

Hi I'm tired

also still refusing to recheck this for spelling errors so eugh. I'm actually really surprised this story is getting views, don't know why but it's cool and a little confusing to see people actually voting on this shit story.

Also I apologize for not uploading in a while I've been having writers block but like.. just for this fucking story for some reason.

Also I might make a Snufmin oneshot book but probably not so that might end up happening at some point if I feel like actually making it.

Welp, have a nice day 👌
