I woke up to people screaming downstairs. I slowly got up and tiptoed down the stairs. "Just stay the hell away from her"   "why would I do that Quinton you fucking cheated on her" I realized it was Quinton and jaden arguing. "What dose it matter I've completely broken contact with cynthia"  "she still deserves better then you. Let's see you hurt her what twice"    "so what that's the past"    "the past my ass. You were still with cynthia about what a mouth ago. Which is when me and her started talking. She deserves someone who well treat her better then her" I started to feel the tears from in my eyes I turned around and bumped into someone. "Emma what's up" it was payton. "Its nothing."     "Do not say nothing something is up" he pulled back to him. "Just Quinton and jaden arguing" I got out of his grip and ran upstairs and into jadens and Josh's room. Josh was on his phone. "Emma why are you crying" he put his phone down and came towards me. "Nothing" he pulled me into him. Brother hugs are honestly the best. He finally heard the noise downstairs  because of payton.  "AY YOU FUCKING IDIOTS YOU DO REALIZE THE GIRL YOUR TALKING ABOUT IS SLEEPING. SHUT THE FUCK UP" he yelled. I pushed my face into Josh's chest. "Hey Emma I know the screaming scars you and it ok I'm right here" we heard footsteps coming up the stairs. "Hey is Emma in he- payton came into the room But stopped when he realized I was in there. "Emma I'm so sorry" he said placing a hand on my back.  "Its fine payt" I mumbled against Josh's chest.  "Come on breakfast is on me" payton said.  "Where are we going" I asked. Josh unwrapped his arms. "Umm IHOP"   "ok" I smiled up to them both.  "Let's go bitchs" payton said. "Wait I should probably bring my girlfriend along" he said turning around I giggled. Me and josh went downstairs and sat on the couch jaden came into the room."Emma it looks like you've been crying what wrong" he asked looking concerned. "You and Quinton happened. All of your yell this morning put her into a panic attack" josh said looking at his phone.  "Emma I'm so sorry I didnt mean to. It's just he pissed me off"   "it's fine jaden"     "let's head out gang" payton said with a sleepy parker on his back. We all got into Josh's car. I turned on my feels playlist and sang along.  "No it's to early for all this depressing shit" payton took the aux from me and connected it to his phone. We pulled into the IHOP parking lot and got out and went in. The waiter showed us to our table. We ordered our drinks. "So you guys exited about the release of the broken" josh said. "That's not the name of the song dip shit" parker said. "Then what is it"     "he was mine" parker and I corrected.  "Ok ok jeez"    "but honestly with me and parker working together what do we call ourself. Like a name for our 2 person band" I said staring the ice around in my cup.   "How about better together or my better half"   "I'm kinda feeling better together" parker suggested. "Then that's it. They are now better together." Josh joked. Our food came and we ate when we finished we went to the car. "Home we go" we drove through downtown witnessing the protest going on in la. I watch as we passed by. "This isn't fair" I said.  "We know but they have full rights to fight for there freedom and rights"    "it's still not fair. We should all be equal"   "I know but we really cant do anything about it em"    "why cant we go protest with them"     "Emma I promised mom I'd protect you from stuff like that so no we arent."  I slouched down and crossed my arms. When we got home we ordered a few pizzas and watched movies. "Soooo" kio said. "What" I said back. "Hows the relationship with jaden"     "there is no relationship dumbo"   "oh ok dope"    "how are you and liv"      "we are great actually"    "that's good"    "have you thought about getting back with Quinton" he asked I looked over at him kinda shocked.  "When he proves he can stay loyal"    "so you still love him"   "I guess"    "so you are kinda using jaden to keep your mind off of him"   "not necessarily. I like jaden I just with I could get my mind off if him tho"    "Emma its obvious he still loves you I mean look at him look at you" I looked over at Quinton and it looked almost as if he was stuck in a trance but his eyes were on me.  "Kio can we just watch the movie" he nodded and looked back at the TV. I laid my head on jadens shoulder. "Em you ok. You feel really warm" he gently pushed my head up and placed his hand on my forehead.  "Holy shit. Your burning up" he said.  "You also losing color" josh added. "Payton well you go grab me a wash cloth with cold water on it" josh said. Jaden got up and josh laid my head on his lap. "Emma do you feel sick" I shook my head. "Are you sure"  "yes I'm sure josh I feel fine" I said.  "No you arent your temperature is higher the 102.8"  a cold cloth was put on my head. "That's fucking cold" I mumbled. "Shhhhhh" josh said. "I wanna go to sleep" "not while your running a fever"   "how about just some advil that well help the break the fever" I mentioned. "Right" I heard someone move then come back. 2 pills were shoved into my mouth. "Here" he handed me the water. "Now you stay awake till the fever breaks"    "you suck" I mumbled.    "No we dont it for your own safety"    "but yet African Americans are being killed by white people and it's for my safety"  "Emma hush and relax please"     "ok but shes right. Why do they have to suffer to live in America" jaden added. I pulled the cloth. "See jaden agrees. So we can go protest tomorrow?" I asked "no Emma it to dangerous" jaden said "whatever can I sleep yet"   "hang on I need to cheack your temperature then maybe" josh said. "Alright yea youu can"    "kk goodnight dumb dumbs" I ran upstairs and into mine and parkers room. "Hey wait. Sleep with jaden I wanna cuddle with my girlfriend" payton said walking into the room.  "Fine" I got off the bed and went to jadens room and plopped onto his bed.  "Whatcha doin"    'payton kicked me out he wanted to cuddle with parker so I sleep in here" I rolled over and stuffed my face into his pillow. "At least let me hold you" he said laying down next to me. I rolled over and he opened his arms. I moved closer and he wrapped his arms around me. "Goodnight beautiful"    "no flirting with my sister" josh yelled from his bed. Me and jaden laughed. I curled into him and soon fell asleep.
