y/n: "Soobin, slow down."
soobin: "Have you tried this bread?"
y/n: "I have but I also know to not stuff 3 rolls into my mouth."
soobin: "Sorry."
y/n: "You look like a chipmunk."
soobin: "A cute chipmunk."
yeonjun: "How does it feel to date a chipmunk?"
y/n: "Pretty damn good."
soobin: "That's my girl."
yeonjun: "How long have you guys been together?"
y/n: "Three years."
soobin: "Three years, four months, and twenty-six days."
yeonjun: "Wow. What's your secret?"
soobin: "To counting? I set our anniversaries in my calendar."
yeonjun: "No, I mean staying together for that long."
soobin: "Hm... I don't know. We just have. What do you think, [y/n]? Any tips you want to give him?"
y/n: "Just treat the other person well and there shouldn't be any problems."
soobin: "Exactly."
yeonjun: "Wow. You guys are, like, the perfect couple."
soobin: "I wouldn't say perfect."
yeonjun: "That's what perfect people say."
soobin: "How about you? Any special someone?"
yeonjun: "Nah. I'm too focused on dancing right now."
y/n: "How long have you been dancing?"
yeonjun: "Longer than you guys have been together."
soobin: "Woah."
yeonjun: "I want to make it big." (shrugs) "It's sorta dumb..."
y/n: "No it's not!"
yeonjun: (laughs) "Okay, calm down."
y/n: "Sorry. But it's not stupid."
yeonjun: "It's not the easiest, most realistic dream to have."
y/n: "The best dreams aren't easy or realistic."
yeonjun: "What about you?"
y/n: "Me?" (sighs) "I'm just trying to get through college right now."
yeonjun: "And Soobin?"
soobin: "Um... I'm a pretty low key person..."
yeonjun: "I don't believe that. I saw you dancing in there."
soobin: "I felt like I was tripping over my feet the whole time."
yeonjun: "That's just how it is in the beginning. But I don't know, man, I think you might have it in you."
soobin: "Really?"
yeonjun: "Take it from someone who's been dancing for years. I think I know potential when I see it."
y/n: "I agree."
soobin: "Singing and dancing? I could never do both."
yeonjun: "You sing, too?"
soobin: "I'm trying to."
yeonjun: "So am I. We should join forces!"
y/n: "Yeonbin!"
yeonjun: "Huh?"
y/n: "Nothing."
yeonjun: "I hear there's some local competition going on. They hold it at the mall and they'll take--"
soobin: "--the winners for training in South Korea. I know, [y/n] and I heard about it."
yeonjun: "That's what I'm training for right now. I'm working on a performance piece. I could help you on yours, if you want to join."
soobin: "I'll think about it."
yeonjun: "Don't think for too long. It's in one month."
soobin: "One month?"
yeonjun: "Yeah."
y/n: "You could still do it."
soobin: "Not if they expect my dancing to be like what we saw earlier. I dance like a spaghetti noodle."
yeonjun: "A stiff spaghetti noodle."
y/n: (whispers) "Yeonjun!"
yeonjun: "But that can easily be fixed! You just need practice. What do you say?"
soobin: "I still need more time to think about it."
yeonjun: "Okay. Let's at least swap phone numbers for when you make up your mind."
soobin: "Okay. You can take [y/n]'s phone number, too."
y/n: (chokes on food) "Huh?"
soobin: "If I'm ever busy and he can't reach me, you can be like my emergency contact."
yeonjun: "Makes sense. That way you'll have both our phone numbers."
y/n: I love this alternate universe.
