3:27 PM JUNE 29TH LUIS' DORM
LUIS WAS CURRENTLY trying to figure out to to get Jane out of bed, considering they had a game that night. She had barely move, barely eaten, barely spoken a word. She just sat in the bed, staring at the computer screen.
Luis was taking care of her, and he had realized it was much worse than he had reacted to his breakup. Luis wasn't even sure Corey and Jane were officially broken up yet.
Last night she was happy, maybe the adrenaline and impulse. Jane fell asleep after Youngblood, so he ended up shutting off the light, pulling the blanket over her, and texting Beth to let her know Jane was asleep.
Averman was going to be in the same room as them, so it wasn't like Luis could pull anything (if he was the type of person, and he's not).
Jane fell asleep, with Luis holding her as close as possible.
When Luis woke up earlier that day, Jane seemed calm. She seemed normal. But Luis's heart was racing, as Jane was completely pressed against him. He hadn't had been that close with anyone, since his ex.
He got up and showered and such, doing a normal morning routine. Jane didn't wake up until about two hours after him, closer to noon.
Luis offered her food, which she shook her head at. She seemed worse off compared to the evening before.
Jane tied her hair up and sat back in the bed, sighing heavily.
Luis offered her water, to take her somewhere, anything. She had either said a, "No thank you", or nothing at all.
She was shutting down. He read her. He didn't know how he did, but there was a connection in which he understood.
Somehow, Luis was aware something else was bothering her, or something deeper behind Corey.
Being cheated on of course makes a person feel horrible, but Jane and Luis seemed to be the only ones in the moment who understood each other.
Beth was having trouble trying to help, considering she's never really been in any serious relationship, she's been "waiting for the right person".
Averman had only been on one date in the past. He didn't know what to do. Those were the people closest to her, even though she trusted the girls at some level.
