"No fucking way." Sero whispered as he looked back and forth between Mina and Izuku.

"This certainly makes our job easier now." Tokoyami said with a shrug.

Izuku instantly shook his head, knowing exactly what all of them were thinking. "I broke it off with Shoto months ago! Neither of us have anything to do with each other anymore! Seriously, I'm not worth your time." He said quickly, waving his hands in front of him.

"Todoroki's gay? Can we just circle back to that revelation?" Jirou asked, having some priorities apparently.

"Got a problem with it?" Izuku asked her, completely forgetting his situation and just having enough with homophobic people. It didn't help that his last boyfriend was homophobic himself and it's kind of the reason their not together anymore.

The purple haired girl raised her hands up in surrender before grabbing one of Yaoyorozi's hands. "No, now calm down."

Izuku looked at the two in shock before letting his head drop into his hands. "Are all criminals gay? Like it's just the cherry on top to your anti-government trifecta or something?" He asked, no one in particular.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, who said we were all gay?" Sero asked him.

Izuku deadpanned at him. "The lesbians in the corner, Mina included, the redhead with a bad dye job, the emo who is clearly a bottom, and the blond sitting next to me who perked up a little too much Mina said Todoroki was gay. You're undecided as of now."

"Damn, he's good." Mina whispered to Kirishima, who just nodded.

"I'm a little offended about the hair comment." He added with a small pout as he messed with his hair that as currently tied back in a ponytail.

"Get a root touch up." Izuku said offhandedly. He could see the black showing through at his scalp.

"Getting off topic, dumbasses. And I didn't perk up because he's gay, I did it because I'm currently holding the only person he's ever seemed to care about, hostage." Katsuki sneered at him, mildly upset that Izuku would think he had any interest in Todoroki.

"I already told you, we haven't talked in months, I'm not worth your time!" Izuku said, throwing his hands in the air.

Okay so Todoroki clearly still had a lot of confusing feelings about Izuku and would probably do a lot of stupid things to save his life, but he wasn't just going to tell them that.

"I don't know, I think we should test it out." Mina said, a little to excitedly.

Izuku frantically shook his head at the idea. "I'd just end up dead. Even when we were together, he didn't care about me that much, I was a toy more than anything." He said, his voice becoming softer. He knew that Shoto really had cared about him, but he couldn't shake the feeling that he really was just a toy to the dual haired man. He apparently hadn't meant enough for them to stay together.

The group of criminals turned to look at Katsuki expectantly.

"So what'd we do with him?" Sero asked, being the only one who seemed to want to speak up after the few moments of silence that passed between them all.

Jirou shook her head, being ever the skeptic. "Well we can't exactly trust him, now can we? He's done nothing but lie to us this entire time!" She exclaimed.

"In all fairness, I think he was trying to hide the fact he was gay over the mafia part, seeing as he admitted that pretty easily." Mina added, letting Izuku have just a little room to breath as the others nodded in agreement.

Kirishima hummed to himself quietly before speaking up to agree with her. "He probably thought we wouldn't hesitate to kill him if we knew. Most people wouldn't."

"Good thing we're not most people then?" Sero said in a questioning tone. "I still don't see why this is up for debate. Let's just kill him and hide the body, I don't really want to get on Todoroki's bad side by threatening the guy he's in love with."

"He's not in love with me." Izuku grumbled, but no one seemed to be paying attention to him.

"Killing him would sign your death warrant, smart one." Kirishima said, shaking his head and flicking Sero's forehead.

The black haired man gaped at him. "And threatening him is going to do better? At least if we killed him, Todoroki wouldn't find out it was us." He muttered.

Izuku spoke up, once again, trying to save his own life and maybe Todoroki's business. "Please don't kill me. Like I said before, Shoto couldn't care less about me now, so there's no point in trying to use me as a chip. I really just want to keep my job and pretend that this whole thing never happened." He pleaded, knowing that if he got out of this alive, it'd be in his best interest to stay at the newspaper. Whether it be to switch sides, or keep being a double agent, Izuku hadn't decided yet.

Once again, everyone turned their eyes to Katsuki, who had been unreasonably quiet. Izuku was a bit confused as to why they all seemed to keep looking to him, but then it clicked for him. He was probably their boss, which would explain why he had kept himself out of the spot light and was basically a ghost among the mafia scene.

"We're not killing him," Katsuki said, making Izuku let out a relieved breath. "Yet. We're using him as bait. Then he'll either end up dead, or back with Todoroki. Depends on how much he really was lying."

Izuku's breath hitched once again, knowing that he was screwed. Not only did he get himself caught, but he was going to be used as bait. If Todoroki even wanted to save his life after that, he'd still be in big trouble once he was back with the two toned male. Either way he was screwed.

He felt his eyes glaze over as the severity of the situation hit him full force. He connected his glassy gaze with Katsuki's piercing one. "Please don't." He whispered.

The blond only held the eye contact for a few seconds before looking away and at the rest of his group. "Do something with him until tomorrow night." He said gruffly.

Kirishima grabbed hold of Izuku's upper arm and dragged him from the room, an apologetic look on his face. "I'm sorry about this, but I gotta follow orders." He said once they were in the hallway.

Izuku hung his head. He understood, seeing as he was just following orders as well.

He knew this would happen. He had told Todoroki when he had told him about this mission, and yet the other man didn't listen to him. Now look where it got him. He was being held hostage and would more than likely end up dead by tomorrow night.

So much for no one suspecting him, huh?
